In view of the heavy rainfall affecting the Municipality of Kabasalan, classes in ALL LEVELS are suspended today, August 18, 2026 (Tuesday).

The suspension is implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DOLE EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

Through the continuous collaboration and support of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) under the leadership of Provincial Director Marlyn M. Anoos, together with Senior LEO Michael Vincent B. Macrohon, and our Local Government Unit (LGU) under the very supportive leadership of Mayor Katrina C. Balladares, we are proud to have successfully implemented the DOLE Emergency Employment Program.

We are happy to share that 20 different schools benefited from the services and assistance provided by our beneficiaries.

From the opening of Brigada Eskwela until their last day of duty on August 6, 2026, our beneficiaries demonstrated their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our schools and community.

Continuing our commitment to service, the beneficiaries of the DOLE’s Emergency Employment Program (DEEP) continue to render their services in the schools of our municipality.

Ang Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Kabasalan naghatag sa labing dakong pagpasalamat sa atong mga TUPAD beneficiaries tungod sa ilang kakugi, dedikasyon, ug panaghiusa sa pagpatuman sa mga kalihokan nga nakatampo sa kalimpyo, kaayohan, ug kalamboan sa atong komunidad.

Nagpasalamat usab kami sa LGU Kabasalan, ubos sa aktibong liderato ni Mayor Katrina C. Balladares, ug sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), pinaagi sa Provincial Director Marlyn M. Anoos, alang sa ilang padayon nga suporta ug lig-on nga panagtinabangay sa pagpatuman sa TUPAD Program. Another milestone in providing meaningful opportunities to our Kabasaleños as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Kabasalan, successfully conducted the payout for the 2nd Batch of beneficiaries under the 20-day TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers) Program.

Through the leadership of Hon. Katrina C. Balladares, Municipal Mayor of Kabasalan, the LGU remains steadfast in supporting programs that create employment opportunities and provide financial assistance to disadvantaged and displaced workers, helping improve the lives and well-being of Kabasaleños.

Ang Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Kabasalan nagpasalamat pag-ayo sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) alang sa ilang padayon nga pakigtambayayong ug walay hunong nga suporta sa paghatag og mga oportunidad sa panginabuhian alang sa atong mga Kabasaleños.

𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗨𝗧

A total of 36 beneficiaries of Batch 1 for 20-days employment, successfully received their payouts through the DOLE Emergency Employment Program.

Through the continuous coordination between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), led by Provincial Director Marlyn M. Anoos, and our Local Government Unit under the leadership of our very supportive Mayor Katrina C. Balladares, we are able to ensure that government assistance reaches our constituents, especially those who need it most.

Pursuant to the directive of our Municipal Mayor, Katrina C. Balladares, DOLE Emergency Employment Program (DEEP) beneficiaries were immediately deployed to KSPED to assist in the cleanup and rehabilitation of classrooms affected by flooding. Clearing operations were also conducted in drainage canals to help restore the affected areas and prevent further water-related issues.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) actively participated in the activity by facilitating the collection and proper disposal of waste materials, ensuring that environmental and sanitation standards were observed throughout the operation.

This initiative was conducted in coordination with Barangay Captain Ranulfo Bacus and KSPED Principal Dennis Yape, who closely supervised and monitored the cleanup efforts to ensure that all priority areas were properly cleared and addressed.

Through the collective efforts of the Local Government Unit, partner offices, and community stakeholders, we remain committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and resilient environment for our constituents.
