A successful Mobile Blood Donation Activity was conducted today, with 20 generous donors who willingly shared their blood to help save lives.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Cotabato Blood Bank, RHU Staff and Nurses , BHWs, and dedicated volunteers for their valuable assistance and support in making this activity a success.

Month of October (October 03,2026)|| NATIONWIDE BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING OPERATION (BARCO)

Alinsunod sa Municipal Resolution No. 106, Series of 2024, na pinagtibay at ipinatutupad sa ating barangay sa pamamagitan ng Barangay Ordinance No. 007, Series of 2024, ang Barangay Road Clearing Operation (BARCO) ay matagumpay na naisagawa.

Sa pamumuno ng ating aktibong Kapitan Crispin M. Tangalin, kasama ang Barangay Council at BPAT ng ating Barangay ay matagumpay na naisagawa ang Barangay Road Clearing Operation ( BARCO).

Ang layunin ng programang ito ay upang mapanatili ang kalinisan at kaayusan ng mga daanan ng bawat residente dito sa ating barangay at maiwasan ang mga aksidente .

You must be 18 to 65 years old, (17-17 yrs old may donate provided with parentsโ€™ s/ guardians consent).
You must be at least 110 lbs or 50kg.
Your hemoglobin level must be at least 125 g/L (this will be checked before donating blood to see if you are not anemic)
Your blood pressure must be between:
Systolic: 90 to 160
Diastolic: 60 to 100 mmHg
Pulse Rate
-50 to 100 beats/ minute
-Regular Rhythm
Generally, in good health condition! The final medical assessment will depend on the physician on duty.
โœ”๏ธHow to Donate Blood?
Have your weight taken,
Register honestly and completely the donor registration form.
Have your blood type and hemoglobin checked.
A physician will examine and determine an individualโ€™s eligibility to give blood.
Actual donation. The phlebotomy procedure would usually take about 10 minutes or less.
A 5 to 10 minute rest and enough fluid intake is necessary after donation.
Preparation before Donating Blood
Have enough rest and sleep.
No alcohol intake 24 hours prior to blood donation.
No medications for at least 24 hours prior to blood donation.
Have something to eat prior to blood donation, AVOID FATTY FOODS.
Drink plenty of fluid like water or juice.
Benefits to the Blood Donor
BLOOD DONATION STIMULATES PRODUCTION OF NEW CELLS, SIMILAR TO THE PRINCIPLES OF โ€œCHANGE OIL MECHANISM.
PERSONAL HEALTH CHECK. YOU WILL KNOW YOUR BLOOD TYPE AND HEMOGLOBIN.
