Tandaan: ang Barangay Assembly Day ay hindi lamang tungkulin ng mga opisyal, kundi karapatan at responsibilidad ng bawat isa. Ang inyong pakikibahagi ay ang susi sa mas matatag at maunlad na barangay!

OCTOBER 7, 2025 (Tuesday) – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Juban participated in the 4th Quarter Provincial Executive Conference led by Provincial Director Arnel L. Madrideo, Cluster Head LGOO VI Josef Roi S. Armenta, and DILG Provincial Focal Persons, together with the Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs), LGOO II Apprentices and other key personnel from the Provinicial Office.

The activity served as a venue to present updates, share best practices, and discuss performance reports of the DILG field offices. It also aimed to strengthen coordination, align targets, and ensure the continuous delivery of effective and responsive local governance services in Sorsogon Province.

OCTOBER 7, 2025 (Tuesday) – The LGOO Apprentices of DILG Juban successfully conducted the Presentation of their Capacity Development (CapDev) Analytics Report and Capacity Development Solutions Proposal to the DILG Provincial Office – Sorsogon.

The activity was led by LGOO II Trecemar V. Danao from DILG Masbate, LGOO II Kaiser Josh V. Loñosa from DILG Catanduanes, and LGOO II Ma. Riza Anika A. Marco from DILG Camarines Sur.

Serving as panelists during the presentation were Provincial Director Arnel L. Madrideo, OIC-Cluster Head LGOO VI Josef Roi S. Armenta, and Program Manager LGOO VI Rafael L. Dela Rama, Jr., together with the MLGOO of Juban and SFW Supervisor, LGOO VI Glenda S. Licas, EnP.

This activity aims to ensure that the CapDev Analytics Report and Solutions Proposal are well-rounded, refined, and ready for presentation to the Local Government Academy (LGA). The session also provided valuable feedback and insights to further strengthen the outputs of the LGOO Apprentices, in line with the Department’s capacity development goals and commitment to effective local governance.

OCTOBER 2-3, 2025 (Thursday-Friday) –
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Juban successfully conducted the 2-Day Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Planning Formulation Workshop at the SB Session Hall, Juban Municipal Hall Compound.

The activity was led by LGOO VI Glenda S. Licas, EnP, in coordination with DILG Sorsogon Provincial Focal Person LGOO III Aldrin Jovi B. Gallanosa and LGOO II Cyril F. Catimbang, and was supported by LGOO Apprentices LGOO II Trecemar V. Danao, LGOO II Kaiser Josh V. Loñosa, and LGOO II Ma. Riza Anika A. Marco.

Also participated in by department heads of the LGU and partner national government agencies involved in maintaining peace, security, and public order in the municipality.

This workshop serves as a vital step in crafting a comprehensive and coordinated POPS Plan, focusing on key areas such as crime prevention, public safety, anti-illegal drugs campaign, disaster preparedness, and community order. It aims to strengthen local strategies that promote a safe and peaceful environment for all Jubangnons.
