📚✨ Celebrating National Reading Month 2025 at Lumaping Elementary School! ✨📚

What a fantastic start to our month-long celebration! This morning, our school community gathered in joyful unity for the Opening Program of the National Reading Month — held in compliance with the guidelines set forth in DM No. 536 s. 2025 from the Department of Education. We’re proud to take part in this meaningful initiative that strengthens the culture of reading, literacy, and lifelong learning.

The highlight of today’s event was the vibrant Parade of Book Characters, where students showcased their creativity by portraying their favorite literary figures. The parade was expertly facilitated by Mrs. Maighem Inilang, Master Teacher I and School Reading Coordinator, whose leadership ensured a smooth and engaging activity. The entire program was warmly and energetically hosted by Mrs. Liez Timonio, School Values Education Coordinator, whose presence kept the excitement alive throughout the celebration. Together, they helped bring stories to life and set an inspiring tone for the activities to come.

This opening marks the beginning of a month filled with storytelling sessions, reading challenges, book-sharing moments, and many other literacy-boosting activities. Yesterday, Lumaping Elementary School officially opened the celebration of DAPC Week 2025 with an inspiring opening ceremony, followed by a film viewing of advocacy videos that reminded our learners of the real value of choosing a healthy, drug-free life. 🎬✨

📚✨ Official Launch of the ARAL Program at Lumaping Elementary School! ✨📚

Today marks another milestone for Lumaping Elementary School as we officially commence the ARAL Program — both ARAL Key Stage 1 (Grades 2–3) and ARAL Key Stage 2 (Grades 4–6) — in alignment with DepEd Order No. 18, s. 2025 and Republic Act No. 12028, also known as the “Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program Act.” 🇵🇭

Under RA 12028 and DepEd Order No. 18, s. 2025, the ARAL Program serves as a national learning intervention designed to help learners recover and strengthen their foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and science, especially those who are performing below the minimum proficiency level or who have experienced learning loss.

This program provides free and accessible tutorial and intervention sessions for learners in public basic education schools. It includes face-to-face, blended, or online sessions, depending on the school’s readiness and learner needs. The law also ensures that teachers, para-teachers, and pre-service teachers are trained as ARAL tutors to deliver focused and effective learning support.

Through ARAL, we aim to accelerate learning recovery, close learning gaps, and uphold every child’s right to quality education — guided by compassion, inclusivity, and commitment to excellence. 💪📖✏️

We commend our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic learners for their cooperation and active participation in this national initiative. Together, we learn, grow, and achieve! 🌟

Closing Program of the National Science Club Month 2025 ✨🌍

This year’s National Science Club Month (NSCM) 2025 carried the theme: “SPATIALYZE: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutions” — a call to explore the power of geomatics and data-driven solutions in addressing real-world community challenges. The theme encouraged learners to look at how maps, spatial data, and innovative technologies can help improve lives, plan sustainable communities, and protect our environment.

At Lumaping Elementary School, the celebration was filled with engaging and meaningful activities throughout the month of September:

📅 Sept. 8 – Opening Ceremony with a Community Parade to kick off the festivities.
📅 Sept. 15 – Film/Documentary Showing highlighting science, innovation, and environmental awareness.
📅 Sept. 19 – TikTok Video Showcase featuring the beauty and spirit of our school campus.
📅 Sept. 30 – Closing Program capped with the creative and eco-friendly Trashion Show, where students showcased fashion made from recycled materials.

Today, as we close our NSCM 2025 celebration, we are proud of how our young Lumaping learners embraced science, creativity, and responsibility toward their community and the environment. 🌱💡

Hello Lumaping ES community! 🥰 We are very happy to announce nga ang atong eskwelahan naglunsad na sa ARAL Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning). This program is created to help our learners nga nanginahanglan ug extra support sa ilang pagbasa (reading), matematika (math), ug siyensya (science).

Unsa man ning ARAL Program?
ARAL is a nationwide program under Republic Act 12028, signed into law in 2024. Ang tumong ani mao nga matabangan ang mga bata nga naglisod sa klase, katong na-undang ug skwela (Balik-Aral), ug katong kinahanglan pa ug dugang suporta para makasabay sa uban.

Kinsa man ang maka-apil?
✔️ Learners from Kinder to Grade 10
✔️ Mga nagbalik-eskwela (Balik-Aral)
✔️ Mga bata nga lisod pa sa pagbasa, math, ug science

Unsaon pagpatuman sa ARAL?
