Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 na may temang “𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒃𝒐𝒈 𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏, 𝑫𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒍𝒐𝒏,” ang 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐁𝐂𝐏𝐂𝐇) ay patuloy na nagsusulong ng pagpapahalaga sa kasaysayan, kultura, at pamanang Bangsamoro.

Sa buong buwan ng Agosto, abangan ang mga programa at aktibidad ng BCPCH na naglalayong itampok ang mga kuwento, tradisyon, at pamana ng Bangsamoro bilang mahalagang bahagi ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

𝗕𝗖𝗣𝗖𝗛 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗘𝘅 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱

The successful conclusion of the three-day HistoEx marked another milestone in the BCPCH's commitment to promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Bangsamoro. Through interactive exhibits, cultural presentations, and meaningful engagement with visitors, the team was able to share the beauty and significance of the Tausug culture with a wider audience. As the event came to a close, the BCPCH proudly returned home with the Third-Place Award for Best Booth, a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and collective efforts of Chairperson Robert Alonto, Commissioner Nurkadri Hamsali, the BCPCH team, and everyone who contributed to the success of the exhibit.

The Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH) proudly joins 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐄𝐱 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, one of the Philippines’ premier heritage and history expositions, taking place on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟕-𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐌 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥.

As the official cultural heritage institution of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), BCPCH will showcase the rich history, diverse traditions, and cultural treasures of the Bangsamoro people through engaging exhibits and educational displays. The participation aims to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of the region’s unique identity, celebrate its living heritage, and highlight the stories that continue to shape the Bangsamoro narrative.

This year’s participation will be spearheaded by the 𝐁𝐂𝐏𝐂𝐇 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐮 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐢 𝐉. 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢, featuring the province’s remarkable cultural heritage, historical legacy, and long-lasting traditions. Through this special showcase, visitors will discover Sulu’s significant contributions to the preservation and promotion of Bangsamoro cultural identity.

BCPCH invites everyone to experience the richness of Bangsamoro heritage and celebrate the stories, traditions, and artifacts that reflect the resilience and diversity of its people.

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming representatives from the National Commission for Muslim Filipinos (NCMF)- Region IX- B, Sulu to our office. Their visit was made even more meaningful as they generously presented us with a box of premium dates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We sincerely thank the NCMF for this thoughtful gesture, which reflects the spirit of generosity, friendship, and unity. We are truly grateful for their kindness and for taking the time to visit us.

May this meaningful connection continue to strengthen our partnership in serving our communities.

Last Saturday, BCPCH-Sulu participated in the Conference on the Bangsamoro History: Focus on Sulu, which carried the theme, "Reflecting Contemporary Sulu History and the Right to Self-Determination."

The conference brought together historians, scholars, cultural workers, community leaders, and heritage advocates to engage in meaningful discussions on Sulu's historical journey, contemporary realities, and the aspirations of its people. The activity provided a platform for critical reflection on the historical experiences that continue to shape Sulu's identity and its place within the broader Bangsamoro and Philippine narrative.

As an institution committed to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, BCPCH-Sulu recognizes the importance of fostering historical awareness and encouraging informed dialogue on issues that affect our communities. Through activities such as this, we continue to strengthen our collective understanding of Sulu's rich past while contributing to conversations that help shape its future.

We extend our appreciation to the organizers, speakers, and participants whose insights enriched the discussions and reaffirmed the significance of history in advancing cultural identity, heritage preservation, and the right of communities to determine their own future.
