Sa dili pa ilabay, siguroha nga nahimulag ang dili malata (non-biodegradable) ug malata (biodegradable).

· Malata (Biodegradable): Kadtong daling madunot sama sa panit sa prutas, utanon, dahon, sagbot, ug kan-on.
· Dili Malata (Non-Biodegradable): Kadtong dili madunot sama sa plastik, botelya, lata, ug sako.

2. 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚

Para sa mga "Malata” (Biodegradable):

· Himuong abono (compost) : Kung naay nataran, lubong kini aron mahimong natural nga abono sa tanom. (Suggested na pwede buhaton sa malata kay dili kini gakuhaon sa kolektor sa basura)
· Ihatag sa mga nagkinahanglan niini

Para sa mga "Dili Malata” (Non-Biodegradable):

· Hugasi ang mga plastik ug lata aron dili baho
• Isulod sa sako, human hiktan ang sako na gisudlan.

· Ilain ang pwedeng i-recycle or kung tanaw ninyo na magamit pa, gamita.
· Botelya ug kahon
· Mga plastik nga pwedeng himuong laing produkto.

3. 𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐮𝐡𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚

· Sakto nga sudlanan:
•𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐮𝐠 𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐎 ug siguroha nga sirado/ nahiktan aron di magkatag ug iring o iro.
•𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐰 𝐩𝐚𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭 ug 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐠 kay dili kana kuhaon sa kolektor
· Taktak sa oras: Ibutang sa gawas sa balay kon moagi na ang trak sa basura o ang mga tigkolekta. Ayaw ibutang sayo kaayo kay mabasa sa ulan o magkatag.
•Sigurua nga ang basura nga imong ipa kolekta kay Non-biodegradable o di mga malata.
· Ilha ang eskedyul: Ang eskedyul sa pagkuha sa atong mga basura every 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 .

In celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day and as part of National Tourism Week 2025 with the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” the Barangay Council of Aplaya headed by Hon. Reyzaldee Maghanoy spearheaded Coastal Clean-Up Drive together with the Brgy. staff & volunteers early this morning along the coastline of our Barangay.

The activity highlighted the barangay’s continuing commitment to environmental protection and sustainable tourism by emphasizing the importance of collective action in addressing marine litter, protecting biodiversity, and ensuring cleaner, safer, and more attractive coastal areas.

Through shared responsibility and people’s participation, we are giving our coastlines a fresh start. Here's to cleaner tides and safer homes for marine life. 🌊💛
