Today, May 26, 2026, marks another milestone for Barangay Bongol as we successfully conducted the Inauguration and Blessing Ceremony of the Barangay Bongol Child Development Center. ✨🏫

This meaningful event was graced by Hon. Paulino M. Parian - Janiuay Municipal Mayor, together with the representatives from Department of Social Welfare and Development - Region Office and MSWDO Ms. Elizabeth Sevilla.

The newly inaugurated Child Development Center symbolizes our continued commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and conducive learning environment for the children of Barangay Bongol. This project reflects the unity and dedication of the local government and partner agencies in supporting early childhood education and development.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this special occasion. May this center serve as a foundation for brighter futures and quality learning for our young learners. 💙

Please be informed that all Barangay Officials will not be in the office today, May 25, 2026, as District 5 will be hosting the Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Janiuay at Barangay Damoong, Janiuay, Iloilo.

In line with this, the Barangay Office will be CLOSED today.

Regular office operations will resume tomorrow, May 26, 2026.

Congratulations to the hardworking and dedicated team of Barangay Bongol under the leadership of our Punong Barangay JO-ANN M. RENDAJE for emerging as the CHAMPION in the Inter-Barangay Fire Olympic 2026 facilitated by the BFP R6 Janiuay Fire Station ! 🥇🚒

Out of the 6 participating barangays, Barangay Bongol proudly showcased teamwork, discipline, preparedness, and commitment in promoting fire safety and emergency response. Your determination and unity truly paid off! 💪👏
