Ang Office of the Municipal Agriculturist–Janiuay nagaimbitar sa tanan nga sugarcane planters sa Banwa sang Janiuay nga magpartisipar sa sini nga kampanya agud mapalapnag ang kaalam kag mapakilala ang nagakaigo nga mga teknolohiya kag mga pamaagi sa paglikaw, pagkontrol, kag pagmitigar sang danyos nga ginatuga sang Red-Striped Soft Scale Insect (RSSI) sa aton mga tanom nga tubo.

Bilang kabahin sang programa, may mga Agriculturists halin sa Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) nga magaathag kag magahatag sang mga teknikal nga impormasyon, rekomendasyon, kag praktikal nga mga pamaagi sa epektibo nga pagdumala kag pagpakigbatok sa RSSI. Magahimo man sila sang open forum agud masabat ang mga pamangkot kag mga kabalak-an sang aton mga mangunguma.

Calling all CACAO FARMERS of JANIUAY and interested JANIUAYNONS!

We strongly encourage the cacao farmers of Janiuay to join the organized Janiuay Cacao Farmers Association. Individuals who are interested in venturing into cacao farming are also invited to inquire for more information.
We believe that organizing and strengthening the cacao association of Janiuay will create greater opportunities for our local cacao farmers. The association will serve as a venue for addressing suggestions and concerns of cacao farmers—from production to marketing. Members of the association will be empowered through various forms of support from government agencies, private institutions, and partner individuals. In collaboration with umbrella agencies of the Department of Agriculture and private stakeholders, we are determined to revive and expand the cacao industry of Janiuay.

While there are many challenges in the cacao industry, with genuine intention, continuous collaboration, hard work, and collective effort, we can gradually achieve success in cacao farming and provide a sustainable source of income for our hardworking cacao farmers and their families.
