UPDATES ON RE-OPENING OF MT. UGO FOR HIKING ACTIVITY

Hiking in Mt. Ugo will be opened on April 12, 2022 to everyone.

Guidelines:
1. Book/reserve/register in advance tthrough any of the following:
1. Kayapa Tourism, Culture, and Arts page
2. Email at [email protected]
-Email [email protected]
3. Tourism Kayapa hotline 0910 618 1910
-Barangay Tinongdan tourism number 09072457920

2. Send a picture of vaccine card or negative antigen test valid for 72 hours with 1 valid ID.
3. No walk-ins.
4. Entry point: Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya
Exit point: Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet or vice versa
5. Fees to be collected
Entrance fee: 150 pesos to be paid at Kayapa
Environmental fee for DENR: 90 pesos to be paid at Tinongdan ( personnel of DENR will collect the environmental fee)
Exit fee: 300 pesos to be paid at Tinongdan Barangay Hall
Guide fee of 1, 200 pesos for 5 hikers.

6. Dayhike only. NO CAMPING.

UPDATES ON THE RE-OPENING OF MT. UGO

Mt. Ugo will be opened for MOUNTAIN/TRAIL BIKERS ONLY on March 20, 2022 onwards for residents of BENGUET, NUEVA VIZCAYA, ISABELA, AND BAGUIO CITY ONLY.

Guidelines:

1. ENTRY POINT: Ansipsip, Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya
EXIT POINT: Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.

2. Booking/reservation should be done in advance through mobile number 09072457920/ email address tourism. [email protected] Walk-in is not allowed.

3. Vaccination card with 1 valid ID shall be required for vaccinated individuals and a negative antigen result within 72 hours with 1 valid ID for the unvaccinated ones. Please send a picture of said documents to [email protected] prior to arrival.

4. Reception, orientation, and payment of environmental fee of 150.00 pesos for Kayapa shall be done at the temporary MDRRM office at Mendoza's Building, Pampang, Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya. A separate environmental fee shall be paid in Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet amounting to php 400.00 to be paid at Barangay Hall, Tinongdan, Itogon.

5. A ceremonial re-opening will be held on March 19, 2022. Reception, orientation, and payment shall be done at Samento, Ansipsip, Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya at 6:00-7:00 in the morning. Participants shall be from NUEVA VIZCAYA, ISABELA, BENGUET, AND BAGUIO CITY. (SLOTS already FULL)
