The Local Government Unit of Itogon has extended the deadline for the renewal of business permits from January 20 to January 30, 2026, allowing renewals to be processed without penalties.

Upon the recommendation of Mayor Bernard S. Waclin, the Sanggunian Bayan, led by Vice Mayor Dante Alain Xavier D. Godio, approved Resolution No. 16, Series of 2026, extending the implementation of business tax collection until January 30, 2026.

The resolution states that โ€œthe officialdom of Itogon recognizes the need to extend the deadline for the payment of business licenses, Mayorโ€™s Permit, and other related charges up to January 30, 2026, in order to provide taxpayers sufficient time to settle their obligations with the local government without penalties.โ€
