Hindi lamang ito basta raincoat at botas—simbolo rin ito ng pagkalinga at pagpapahalaga sa mga frontliner na patuloy na naglilingkod sa ating mga 4Ps beneficiaries, mapa-araw man o ulan.

Mula sa malalayong sitio hanggang sa mga komunidad ng Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, tuloy ang serbisyo, pagbisita, at pag-abot sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan.

At dahil kumpleto na ang raincoat at botas, wala nang atrasan! Ang dating “Ma’am, maulan po!” ay magiging “Ma’am, game na po sa field!”

LAUNCHING OF THE 67TH ALL-LIGHTS VILLAGE AND TURNOVER CEREMONY OF SOLAR LAMPS AND SOLAR STREETLIGHTS

On September 4, 2026, a meaningful community activity was successfully conducted at Sitio Asam Unge, Barangay Klubi, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, marking the launching of the 67th All-Lights Village and the turnover of solar lamps and solar streetlights to the community. A total of 100 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary households in Barangay Klubi were provided with solar lamps, bringing a source of light, safety, and hope to families in the community.

The activity was attended by Barangay Klubi officials led by Hon. Tuding W. Angkoy, Barangay Chairman; representatives from DSWD Field Office XII led by Ms. Naifah S. Balindong, Division Chief of the Regional 4Ps Program Management Office; representatives from BLESS Microfinance Corporation; Hon. Antonio G. Fungan Jr., Municipal Mayor of Lake Sebu; representatives and staff of the Global Peace Foundation Philippines; Ms. Francia M. Mayordomo, RSW, MPA, Head of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office; Provincial Link Benilda B. Cortez, RSW, MSSW; Division Chiefs; IP, MCCT, and GAD Focals; Technical Staff of the PCO; Municipal Administration; and other partner agencies and stakeholders.

The activity highlights the importance of strong partnerships and collective efforts in bringing meaningful interventions to communities. The provision of solar lamps and solar streetlights is more than simply providing illumination—it represents a shared commitment to improving the living conditions of families, promoting community safety, and creating opportunities for a brighter and more hopeful future.

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation are extended to the Global Peace Foundation Philippines, BLESS Microfinance Corporation, DSWD Field Office XII, the Municipality of Lake Sebu, Barangay Klubi, and all partner organizations, government offices, officials, staff, and individuals who contributed to the successful implementation of this initiative. May isinasagawang validation at registration process upang matiyak kung kayo ay kwalipikado at maaaring maging miyembro o benepisyaryo ng programa.

Today, we conducted the Pilot Testing of Digital Enhanced Social Welfare and Development Indicator (SWDI) Interview in Brgy. Klubi, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, together with field implementers from different municipalities such as T’boli, Banga, Sto. Niño, Surallah and Noralah. Narito ang sagot sa isa sa mga madalas na itanong tungkol sa Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Assistance.

Ang UPLIFT Assistance ay ipinatutupad sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. para makatulong sa mga poor, near-poor at low-income households na maharap ang epekto ng energy emergency at mapanatili ang kanilang kakayahang matugunan ang mga pangunahing pangangailangan.

UPLIFTing Stories | "Dahil sa UPLIFT, ilang buwan hindi ko na iisipin ang pambili ko ng gamot..."

Hindi lang sariling kalusugan ang iniintindi ni Nanay Charlie Bersusa mula sa South Cotabato. Araw-araw din niyang iniisip kung paano pagkakasyahin ang gastusin para sa kanilang tahanan at sa tatlo niyang apo, habang ang kanilang ina ay naghahanap-buhay sa Maynila para matustusan ang kanilang pangangailangan.

Bilang benepisyaryo ng UPLIFT Assistance, malaking ginhawa para kay Nanay Charlie ang natanggap niyang cash assistance. Makakatulong ito sa pagbili ng kanyang maintenance na gamot at sa iba pang mahahalagang pangangailangan ng kanilang pamilya, kaya nabawasan kahit papaano ang bigat ng kanilang gastusin.

Sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., patuloy na pinalalakas ng DSWD ang mga social protection programs para masuportahan ang mga pamilyang Pilipino at matulungan silang matugunan ang kanilang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan sa gitna ng epekto ng inflation.
