Turabin-Hataman through the City Tourism Office, proudly presents TourPreneur: Entrepreneurship and Skills Training on Water Desalination and Salt-Making Enterprise for Lampinigan Women's Association.

‎This event will take place from September 14-16, 2026 at Lampinigan Island, Isabela de Basilan.
‎
‎This three-day capacity-building initiative aims to equip and empower the Lampinigan Women's Association with practical skills, entrepreneurial knowledge, and sustainable livelihood opportunities through water desalination and salt-making.
‎
‎More than a skills-training activity, TourPreneur aims to foster women-led entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, community resilience, and sustainable tourism development.

‎National Peace Consciousness Month is observed every September in the Philippines by virtue of Proclamation No. 675, s. 2004. It serves as a reminder of the importance of promoting a culture of peace, non-violence, unity, and understanding among Filipinos.

‎Spearheaded by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), the celebration highlights the government’s peacebuilding initiatives and encourages citizens to actively participate in dialogues, reconciliation efforts, and community-building programs that foster harmony, mutual respect, and lasting peace.

‎As we commemorate this significant occasion, may we continue to nurture compassion, build bridges of understanding, and work hand in hand toward a peaceful and inclusive society for both present and future generations.
