Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz, Upi, Gamu, Isabela โ€“ The 1st Cavalry Company (Separate), Armor Division, Philippine Army, under the leadership of CPT DAYANARA CES S AO-WAT-BERIร‘A (ARM) PA, conducted a Basic Armor Operations and Mechanized Infantry Orientation Training (MIOT) lecture at Isabela State Universityโ€“Echague Campus, Brgy. San Fabian, Echague, Isabela on 14 June 2026.

The activity was facilitated by the unitโ€™s Training NCO, Sgt Vergel D Cacayan (Arm) PA, together with the Assistant Operations NCO, Cpl Bryan M Wanawan (Arm) PA, for the 263 ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and ARAP Batch 2 cadets. The lecture included discussions and hands-on exercises that enhanced the cadetsโ€™ understanding of armor operations and mechanized infantry tactics, with the training supervised by CPT JESSIE C BUCAL (OS) PA, Assistant Training Director, 2RCDG, RESCOM, PA.

On the 128th Philippine Independence Day, the Armor Division joins the nation in honoring the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the men and women who served our freedom.

The liberty we enjoy today was earned through the determination and selfless service of generations who chose to stand for the Filipino people. Inspired by their example, the soldiers of the Armor Division remain steadfast in their commitment to save the country with honor, professionalism, and dedication.

As part of the Philippine Army, we continue to uphold our duty to protect our sovereignty and continue to be the guardians of peace and stability that this nation deserves.

The Philippine Army commemorated the 128th Philippine Independence Day through a nationwide simultaneous flag ceremony highlighted by the raising of the Philippine Flag at the Armyโ€™s main headquarters in Fort Bonifacio and camps nationwide on June 12, 2026.

The Philippine Army stands at the intersection of history and the future, firmly committed to defending the nationโ€™s hard-earned sovereignty.
