As part of ensuring a smooth and successful opening of classes for School Year 2026โ2027, a Regional Monitoring Team from Region II, headed by Dr. Dominic Domingo, Education Program Supervisor in Filipino, with Sir Jeston Angeles and Mam Loreta Carlos conducted a monitoring visit at Quezon National High School.
During his visit, Dr. Domingo addressed the students and teachers through the school's public address system. He shared the inspiring story of the Stonecutter, emphasizing that regardless of our position or role in life, we must perform our duties with love, dedication, and commitment.
He also spoke to the Grade 8 and Grade 10 learners during their orientation program, reminding them that the choices and actions they make today will have a significant impact on their future. He encouraged them to be responsible, focused on their studies, and determined to achieve their goals.
In addition, Dr. Domingo guested on Batang Radyo 104 FM's โUgnayan sa DepEd Dos,โ where he delivered an important message to parents. He reminded them that parenting is a God-given responsibility that must be carried out with love, accountability, and proper guidance to nurture their children's growth and development.
The Regional Monitoring aims to validate the actual situation in schools during the opening of classes, identify issues and concerns on the ground, and provide appropriate support and interventions to ensure the delivery of quality and safe education for all learners.
At the culmination of the monitoring activity, Dr. Darwin J. Mangunay, Public Schools District Supervisor of Quezon District, and Joel R. Antipolo, Principal IV of Quezon National High School, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Regional Monitoring Team for their visit, valuable inputs, and constructive suggestions. They emphasized that the recommendations shared by the team would greatly contribute to the continuous improvement of school operations and the delivery of quality education to learners.
The visit reflects the Department of Educationโs continuing commitment to maintaining school readiness and strengthening the quality of educational services across the region.
