💜NATIONAL SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH 2026 | VSU ISABEL

“A simple conversation can be the beginning of hope. Sometimes, letting someone know that you care can make all the difference.”

This September 2026, VSU Isabel joins the observance of National Su***de Prevention Month with a series of virtual learning activities centered on mental health awareness, empathy, connection, resilience, and su***de prevention.

Throughout the month, our Guidance and Counseling Coordinator, Ma’am Joebren S. Herrera, RGC, will be facilitating a series of virtual lectures designed to help us better understand ourselves and the people around us.

✨ The best part? These lectures are fully accessible online and can be viewed at your convenience. You don't have to attend at a specific time. Browse through the lectures, learn at your own pace, and take what you learn with you.

Alongside the lectures, our campaign will feature weekly campaign focuses encouraging everyone to explore topics.

📢 HOW TO ACCESS THE ACTIVITIES?
All lecture links, guidelines, schedules, and other important announcements will be provided through our official campaign link:

We encourage all students, faculty, staff, and members of the VSU Isabel community to take part in this campaign. You never know when the knowledge you gain or the compassion you show might become important to someone who needs it.

Let’s listen. Let’s connect. Let’s care. Let’s keep the conversation going.

VSU Isabel is raising awareness for National Su***de Prevention Month

This September, the Office Student Affairs and Services – Guidance and Counseling Office joins the nation in observing National Su***de Prevention Month.

Mental health struggles are often fought in silence, but a simple check-in, an empathetic ear, or just showing up can make a world of difference. Let’s foster a campus community built on kindness, understanding, and open conversations.

If you or someone you know is going through a tough time, please remember that you are never alone. Help and support are always within reach.

📢 STAY TUNED!
We will be posting our official Calendar of Activities for the month of September very soon. Keep an eye on our page for updates! 🗓️
