The DILG Iriga City, led by LGOO VI Sheela M. Medina, continues its series of Barangay Development Plan (BDP) Formulation Workshops this August, bringing participatory planning closer to more barangays.

Through collaborative workshops with the Barangay Development Councils (BDCs) and selected appointed officials, the participating barangays worked together in identifying priorities and shaping development strategies responsive to their communities.

The 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, led by 𝗟𝗚𝗢𝗢 𝗩𝗜 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗠. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮,, facilitated the Barangay Development Plan (BDP) Formulation Workshop for Brgys. La Anunciacion and La Purisima on August 6–7, 2026.

Through collaborative planning with the Barangay Development Councils (BDCs) and selected appointed officials, the activity helped shape development priorities and strategies responsive to the needs of their communities.

Alinsunod sa DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-021, kinakailangan ang pagbuo ng Sangguniang Kabataan Inventory Team (SKIT) sa pamamagitan ng Executive Order bilang paghahanda sa maayos na inventory at turnover ng mga SK properties, records, documents, at accountabilities.

DILG MC No. 2026-037 strengthens the Safer School Zones (SSZ) initiative by mobilizing barangay tanods to protect our students in and around school grounds.

Using the S.A.F.E.R. framework, we are ensuring every child’s journey to and from school is orderly and secure.

The activity brought together members of the Barangay Development Council (BDC) and selected appointed officials in updating and formulating their respective BDPs through participatory workshops. It concluded with the approval of the plans by the BDC and their adoption by the Sangguniang Barangay, paving the way for responsive and strategic local development.

This initiative reaffirms DILG Iriga City's commitment to strengthening barangays through participatory and responsive development planning.

Ang pagiging opisyal ng Sangguniang Kabataan ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagkakaroon ng titulo—ito ay tungkol sa pagiging present, responsable, at handang matuto para sa mas mahusay na paglilingkod sa kabataan.

Sa isinagawang 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 2026-021 hinggil sa 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 26 barangay ang nakapagtala ng present attendance, kabilang ang Iriga City Youth Development Office (LYDO), habang 11 Sangguniang Kabataan ang hindi nakadalo sa nasabing mahalagang orientation.

Sa mga dumalo, maraming salamat sa inyong dedikasyon at patuloy na pagpapakita ng responsableng pamumuno. Ang inyong presensya ay patunay ng inyong malasakit sa maayos, transparent, at accountable na pamamahala.

Sa mga hindi nakadalo, magsilbi sana itong paalala na ang bawat orientation at capacity-building activity ay pagkakataong mapalawak ang kaalaman at mapalakas ang kakayahang maglingkod sa inyong mga kabataan.

Hindi sapat ang mahalal—mahalaga ring maging handa, aktibo, at naroroon.
