CONGRATULATIONS, IRIGA CITY AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OFFICE OF THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT!👏❤️

CSWDO Iriga City – Level 3: “Improved Service Delivery”

The Service Delivery Capacity Assessment (SDCA), formerly known as the Service Capacity and Competency Assessment (SDCCA), is a triennial evaluation conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). It is designed to assess the capacity of Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) in delivering efficient, effective, and responsive social welfare services.

The assessment covers three key areas: Administration and Organization, Program Management, and Institutional Mechanisms. It is undertaken every three (3) years to determine the capacity and competency requirements of LSWDOs and their personnel, and to identify areas for improvement.

The results of the assessment serve as a basis for the provision of responsive Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA), ensuring that interventions are aligned with the specific needs of the Office.

Over the past three years, CSWDO Iriga City recorded a rating of 2.88, which has improved to 2.95 in the most recent assessment. This notable increase reflects the Office’s continuous efforts to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance program implementation, and uphold excellence in public service delivery.

🌸💜 Happy National Women’s Month! 💜🌸

The OCSWD and Gender and Development office, proudly joins the nation in celebrating the Kick-Off of National Women’s Month—a meaningful tribute to the strength, courage, leadership, and unwavering dedication of women in every sector of society.

This celebration is not only about honoring the remarkable achievements of women but also about reaffirming our commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusive development. It is a reminder that when women are empowered, families flourish, communities grow stronger, and societies move forward.
As we begin this month-long observance, let us continue to:
✨ Recognize the contributions of women in all fields
✨ Advocate for equal opportunities and fair treatment
✨ Promote safe and supportive spaces for women and girls
✨ Inspire the next generation of empowered leaders

We proudly acknowledge the strong support of Mayor Rex C. Oliva and the Arriba Administration, whose leadership continues to champion programs and initiatives that advance gender equality and empower women in our community. Their commitment strengthens our collective efforts to build a more inclusive and progressive society for all.

Together, we stand in solidarity in breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and creating a future where every woman and girl can reach her full potential without limitations.
Let us celebrate not only today, but every day, the power and promise of women. 💐
Empowered women empower communities.

In line with the Tinagba Festival 2026, the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) proudly served as the lead office of the Tagba Committee, in partnership with St. Anthony of Padua Parish and the City Engineer’s Office.

The Committee diligently facilitated the receipt of Tagba offerings generously shared by various barangays, schools, national and local government offices, People’s Organizations (POs), and other participating groups.

Through this collective effort, a total of thirty-five (35) institutions and parishes were provided with essential agricultural and food items, including sacks of rice, assorted root crops, fresh fruits and vegetables, cooking spices and ingredients, trays of eggs, noodles, fresh fish, meat, and chicken.

This initiative reflects the spirit of unity, generosity, and community service among all stakeholders involved.
