The mentoring session focused on the importance of formulating clear objectives, identifying measurable indicators, and establishing logical linkages among project activities, outputs, outcomes, and intended impacts. Participants were also guided on the application of the logical framework approach as a tool for effective project planning and management.

Furthermore, the mentoring activity was successfully carried out with active participation and engagement from the attendees. The session provided a productive learning environment that enabled participants to strengthen their skills in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation, contributing to the effective and sustainable implementation of programs and projects.

The last day of Module 1 centered on transforming initial observations into clear, purposeful objectives for the two-day mentoring program. Participants were encouraged to revisit their insights from the previous session and translate these into meaningful and actionable ideas. This process allowed them to better appreciate the connection between observation, analysis, and objective-setting.

The activity concluded with the presentation of participantsโ€™ proposed titles, each reflecting the key lessons and realizations gained from the earlier discussions. These titles served not only as outputs of the session but also as indicators of the participantsโ€™ growing understanding of how to frame their ideas more effectively.

With the guidance of the IZSRES team, led by Ms. Babyline Omboy, the titles were carefully reviewed, refined, and systematically organized. Constructive feedback was provided to help participants improve clarity, coherence, and alignment with the overall goals of the mentoring program. The facilitators also ensured that each title captured a relevant issue or theme grounded in the participantsโ€™ observations.

This collaborative and reflective process strengthened the participantsโ€™ skills in critical thinking and idea development.
