PHOTO RELEASE || DILG ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY STRENGTHENS WORKPLACE INTEGRITY, DIGITAL SECURITY IN 2ND QUARTER PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE
The DILG Zamboanga Sibugay convened its 2nd Quarter Provincial Conference on May 12, 2026, in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, featuring a series of orientations and updates aimed at strengthening employee welfare, organizational development, and effective public service delivery.
Among the highlights of the activity were the Orientation on the Drug-Free Workplace Program of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and the Pre-Registration Orientation for the DILG Zamboanga Sibugay Cooperative facilitated by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
The activity emphasized the importance of maintaining a drug-free workplace, promoting secure and efficient digital government systems, and advancing cooperative development initiatives among personnel.
Key discussions focused on cybersecurity and digital authentication through PNPKI, drug-free workplace policies and preventive education, and the processes and requirements for cooperative pre-registration. Drug testing services were likewise conducted to reinforce the governmentβs commitment to a safe, healthy, and drug-free bureaucracy.
The conference also featured Regional Management Updates delivered by Engr. Carmelo Enrique B. Libot, CESO V, Provincial Director, and a discussion on Regional Policies facilitated by Willibald PP. Paglinawan, Chief Administrative Officer.
Operational performance and field implementation updates were presented through the Cluster Report of Benonie A. Galambao, together with Program Updates from designated focal persons and the Program Managerβs Report of Jay Aris P. Buella, highlighting accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and implementation status of programs across the province.
The activity concluded with the recognition of top-performing field officers, honoring their excellence, dedication, and accountability in public service.
