On June 15, 2026, Hon. Ela De Villa Angeles-Lim, together with the staff of RTC Branch 49 Initao, conducted a quarterly jail visitation at BJMP Initao District Jail.

The visitation included a dialogue with the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) regarding their welfare, health conditions, and case-related concerns. RTC Branch 49 Initao also distributed medicines and sanitary supplies necessary for the welfare and well-being of the PDLs.

The said jail visitation reaffirmed the commitment of the judiciary to uphold the dignity of the PDLs, reminding them that they remain seen, heard, and valued as individuals deserving of hope, respect, and support. ❤️

🎨🖌️ Fostering Creativity, Civic Awareness, and Appreciation for the Judiciary! 🖌️🎨

As part of the Judiciary Month Celebration, the Regional Trial Court of Initao, Misamis Oriental (RTC-OCC, RTC Branch 44, and RTC Branch 49) will conduct a Poster Making Contest which will be participated by talented young artists from our local schools.

With the theme, “SC: 125 Years of Tradition and Innovation,” the activity aims to inspire students to express, through art, their understanding and appreciation of the vital role of the Judiciary in upholding justice, safeguarding rights and promoting the rule of law. It also sought to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and awareness of the Supreme Court’s rich legacy of service and its continuing commitment to innovation in the administration of justice.
