Fill the gap with GAP.

“Basta bumubunga, pwede na” is not a healthy mantra for your farm. Farm productivity does not just refer to the farm’s capacity to produce harvests, but being able to efficiently utilize your farm inputs to produce better and quality output.

It’s not okay to be stuck at “pwede na”. There are standards and management practices on how we can maximize farm potential. Good Agricultural Practices for coffee should not just be an idea, but a continual action.

Let us know more of that in the 6th session of the 2021 Coffee BREAK entitled, “Grounded: Employing Good Agricultural Practices" on November 25, 10:00 AM- 12:00 NN via Zoom Meeting Software which is to be led by Mr. Renjie Lucas, Senior Field Technician of ACDI/ VOCA.

Join us on the 4th session of the Coffee B.R.E.A.K. Webinar Series entitled, “Warm Mugs: Community Empowerment through Sustainable Coffee Farming” on September 9, 2021 at 10:00 am via Zoom Video Conferencing Software.

Together, let us witness how Sustainable Coffee Farming transformed a community in Davao del Sur.

See you there kapemilya! 🤗❤

How many times have you said thanks to the farmers for your coffee?

When we are having our cup of coffee, we're often focused on who brewed it... that we forget to acknowledge the hands who took care of the trees that bore the cherries.

Our farmers are not just laborers of the land but are also innovators who continuously adapt to local circumstances.

For the 4th session of the Coffee B.R.E.A.K. Webinar Series entitled, “Warm Mugs: Community Empowerment through Sustainable Coffee Farming”, let us witness how sustainable practices have transformed a coffee community in Davao del Sur. Join us with our speaker, Ms. Marivic Dubria, Manager of Balutakay Coffee Farmers Association (BACoFA) and the 2018 and 2019 First Placer for Specialty Arabica of the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition.

But before we get to hear their story, register first thru the link, https://forms.gle/3gqitati3E75A2Q77

See you there kapemilya!

Successful Benchmarking Activity in Dipaculao, Aurora and DRT Bulacan (July 27-28, 2021) ❤💯📊

To be able to understand and evaluate the current status of the coffee organizations in Region IV – A in relation to the best practices and/or performances of other “best in class” coffee organizations, the project team hereby conducted an onsite strategic benchmarking activity from July 27-28, 2021 in Diarabasin Coffee Farmers and Processors Association (DIACOPFA) – a well-known organization behind the Aurora’s Blend in Dipaculao, Aurora , and Talbak Coffee Growers Association (TCGA) in Doῆa Remedios Trinidad (DRT), Bulacan.

This activity paved the way to the successful identification of areas where possible improvements could be made to even empower and capacitate our coffee organizations here in the CALABARZON Region.

Kaya maraming salamat po, DIACOPFA and TCGA. Hanggang sa muli. 💚
