BFP Cavite Personnel Undergo Intensive Water Safety & Survival Training 🚒🌊

In a continuous effort to strengthen public safety and disaster resilience across the province, personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Cavite are currently participating in the three-day intensive Water Safety & Survival Training (WASSU) from June 16 to 18, 2026, held at the Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort.

Under the steadfast leadership of FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal, BFP Cavite actively collaborates with partner agencies to elevate the rescue capabilities and readiness of its personnel.

Representing their respective stations in this rigorous safety course are FO1 Gilbert T Gabriel (Tanza Fire Station) and FO1 Reynald L Patricio (Dasmariñas City Fire Station)

Organized by the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (PDRRMO) in coordination with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), this vital training equips our firefighters with advanced skills in water rescue and survival operations—ensuring a highly prepared force ready to respond to water-related emergencies.

BFP Cavite extends its deepest gratitude to the PDRRMO and PCG for this invaluable opportunity to strengthen inter-agency collaboration for a safer community.

BFP CAVITE ANNUAL PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST 2026

Under the leadership of FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P AGUTO, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region IV-A, and in line with his vision to cultivate a highly capable, resilient, and service-oriented organization, the Bureau of Fire Protection Cavite successfully conducted the Annual Physical Fitness Test (PFT) 2026 from June 16 to 17, 2026, at the Imus Grandstand, Imus City, Cavite. The two-day activity was spearheaded by FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II, DSC, Provincial Fire Marshal.

BFP personnel actively participated in a series of standardized fitness assessments, including push-ups, sit-ups, the hose carry, and an endurance run. These core disciplines are designed to evaluate strength, endurance, agility, and overall physical readiness—ensuring that every firefighter remains sharp and highly capable of performing demanding field duties with maximum efficiency and professionalism.

Through this comprehensive evaluation, BFP Cavite Province reinforces its commitment to high-level public service by ensuring that its personnel remain fit, responsive, and always prepared to face the rigors of emergency response and fire operations.

BFP CAVITE JOINS THE COMMEMORATION OF THE 128TH PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY IN KAWIT

The Bureau of Fire Protection Cavite, led by the Provincial Fire Marshal FSSUPT NONILON L MACASADIA II,DSC participated in the solemn celebration of the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence at the historic Dambanang Emilio Aguinaldo.

To ensure a peaceful and orderly commemoration, BFP Cavite deployed personnel to augment the forces on the ground.

This year’s prestigious event was graced by the Governor of the Province of Cavite, HON. FRANCISCO GABRIEL "ABENG" REMULLA, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

BFP Cavite remains steadfast not only in its commitment to public safety but also in honoring the rich history and freedom of the Filipino nation.

Ang buong Kawanihan ng Pamatay Sunog ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan, alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 4166, na nagtatakda sa Hunyo 12 bilang opisyal na Araw ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas.

Ito ay paggunita sa makasaysayang deklarasyon ng kasarinlan noong Hunyo 12, 1898 sa Kawit, Cavite—simbolo ng ating paglaya, pagkakaisa, at patuloy na pagmamahal sa bayan.

Sa pamumuno ni Fire Chief Superintendent Wilberto Rico Neil A Kwan Tiu, Officer-in-Charge, Bureau of Fire Protection, patuloy nating isinusulong ang diwa ng isang malaya at nagkakaisang Pilipinas.
