The entire council of Barangay Medicion II-F extends its heartfelt gratitude to all units and personnel who immediately responded to extinguish the massive grassfire that broke out along a portion of Gov. Ayong S. Maliksi Avenue on Tuesday evening.

Among those recognized for their swift action and assistance were:

• Imus City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office – 300 Base
• BFP Imus
• Carsadang Bago I Pumper
• Pag-asa III Mini Tanker
• Alapan I-A Tanker
• Alapan I-C Pumper
• Malagasang I-G Pumper
• Malagasang II-A Tanker

According to reports, the fire started at around 7:30 PM and was fully extinguished by approximately 8:30 PM. Due to the responders’ prompt coordination and teamwork, the blaze was quickly contained, preventing greater damage to nearby areas.

The barangay also commended the dedication, bravery, and readiness of the firefighters and rescue personnel who did not hesitate to respond during the emergency.

Meanwhile, the barangay continues to encourage the public to remain vigilant and cooperate in maintaining safety to help prevent incidents like this from happening again.
