Reaffirming its commitment to excellence in local governance, environmental stewardship, and accountable public service, the Municipal Government of Impasugong continued the CY 2026 Municipal Evaluation in Barangay Kalabugao on its last day, July 24, 2026 (afternoon).
Strongly supported by Municipal Mayor Jetaime Okinlay-Gumban, the annual evaluation aims to assess the performance, functionality, compliance, and best practices of all thirteen (13) barangays while promoting innovation, environmental sustainability, transparency, and responsive local governance.
The municipal evaluation covers the following assessment areas:
Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB)
SK Functionality Assessment
Galing sa Pangangalaga ng Kalikasan (GPK)
Best Communal Garden
Cleanest Barangay
The assessment is spearheaded by the Municipal Evaluation Team, chaired by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)โImpasugong, with the active participation of the Municipal Accounting Office, Municipal Budget Office, Municipal Treasurer's Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, Municipal Agriculture Office, and the Local Youth Development Office.
Beyond recognizing outstanding performance, the assessment serves as a valuable platform for identifying best practices, addressing governance gaps, and strengthening institutional capacities toward the delivery of more effective, inclusive, and sustainable public services.
