FIRE SENIOR LEADERSHIP COURSE CLASS 2025-30 "MAGLIYAB" attended the 1st Impasugong Farmers’ Day and Agri Serbisyo Caravan held at the Impasugong Gymnasium.

The event was graced by Hon. Mayor Jetaime β€œMai-mai” Okinlay-Gumban, together with Engr. Roger V. Navarro, Undersecretary for Operations and Agri-Fisheries Mechanization as well as Undersecretary for Rural Credit.

This activity highlighted the municipality’s continued commitment to empowering local farmers through sustainable agriculture, innovation, and support services. The presence of the Fire Senior Leadership Course Class 2025-30 MAGLIYAB demonstrated solidarity with the community’s pursuit of progress and development in the agricultural sector.

The event also highlighted the Pinning and Awarding Ceremony, a solemn and meaningful tradition that officially recognized the recruits’ unwavering discipline, perseverance, and successful completion of their demanding course of training. Each pin bestowed stood as a symbol of honor, hard work, and the enduring commitment to serve and protect the community.

Gracing this momentous occasion was our Acting Director of the National Fire Training Institute (NFTI), FSSUPT CHRISTINE D. CULA, MPSA, who delivered an inspiring keynote message. The word β€œpahampang” is a Visayan term that generally means β€œplay” or β€œgame.”

When used in events like sportsfests or gatherings, pahampang refers to organized games, competitions, or recreational activities where participants engage in friendly matches to showcase skills, teamwork, and camaraderie.
It’s not just about the competitionβ€”it also emphasizes fun, bonding, and unity among those involved. Pahampang serves as both a break from routine and a way to strengthen morale, discipline, and team spirit.

Guided by SSUPT CHRISTINE DOCTOR-CULA, Acting Director of NFTI, and under the supervision of CINSP ATTY RUEL B CARRIEDO, Regional Training Director, the fire trainees of FBRC CL 2025-138 MALIG-EN took a well-deserved pause from their demanding Academic and Tri-Skills training.

The sportsfest was a vibrant display of energy, camaraderie, and teamwork as the trainees engaged in friendly competitions that highlighted not only their physical strength, but also their unity and morale.

More than just games, the event served as a chance to recharge, strengthen bonds, and enjoy moments of funβ€”while continuing to build the resilience and discipline vital to the firefighting profession.
