14th Session of Farmers Field School (FFS) on Corn Production
📍Sitio Mahan-ao
📅 May 20, 2026

Another meaningful and productive session was successfully conducted during the 14th Session of the Farmers Field School (FFS) on Corn Production held at Sitio Mahan-ao last Wednesday.

The activity featured an inspiring lecture on Agri-Entrepreneurial Mindsetting facilitated by Ate Julie Beronque Ballon Ebio, owner of Green Thumb Integrated Farm, duly accredited by ATI and TESDA. Participants were encouraged to embrace innovation, proper planning, and sustainable farming practices toward a more progressive agricultural future.

The participants also prepared their individual 5-Year Farm Plans and Visions, helping them establish clear goals and long-term directions for their farms and livelihoods.

After the lectures and activities, the facilitators of the FFS from the Municipal Agriculture Office shared meals with the participants as part of strengthening camaraderie and community connection.

A Free Thrift was also conducted, where pre-loved clothes, bags, sandals, and books were shared for our beloved farmers and their children in Sitio Mahan-ao. Small treats such as candies and biscuits were likewise given to the children as a simple “pahalipay” and gesture of care for the community.

Through continuous learning, collaboration, and compassion, we continue working together toward empowered farmers and stronger agricultural communities.

Padayon ta sa pagtinabangay alang sa mas lig-on, malambuon, ug mapinanggaon nga komunidad. Show your support for our local farmers by leaving a heart or message in the comments! ❤️
