NEWS I LHS-JMNHS Alumni Association Donates Sound System Equipment
Lapuz High School–Jalandoni Memorial National High School (LHS-JMNHS) Alumni Association officially donated sound system equipment to Jalandoni Memorial National High School on May 4, 2026, reinforcing its continued support for the school’s programs and activities.
The turnover was led by LHS-JMNHS Alumni Association President Roberto Casas Jr., who formally handed over the equipment to School Principal III Ma’am Arlene Joy Alonzaga.
The donation was made in place of the association’s earlier plan to fund the construction of an alumni hall, with the alumni opting instead to provide equipment that can be immediately utilized by the school.
According to the association, the sound system will be used during various curricular and co-curricular activities, including school programs, assemblies, and major events that require reliable audio support.
“As alumni president, I appeal that we work together to help the faculty and staff of JMNHS, for they have been supportive all the way,” Casas said during the interview.
He likewise encouraged other alumni to actively contribute to the development of their alma mater, citing the school’s growing role as a venue for large-scale events.
“I also encourage all members of the association to give out donations to our alma mater, most especially since the Sports Arena is about to be completed, and it is expected that big activities like the Iloilo City Division of Athletic Association (ICDAA) Meet will be held in our school,” Casas added.
School administrators expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that the equipment will help enhance the quality and efficiency of school activities and future events.
The gesture underscores the strong partnership between JMNHS and its alumni, united by a shared commitment to advancing the school’s mission and student development.
