TESDA SKILLS IN ACTION AT THE WORLD CAFÉ OF OPPORTUNITIES 2026!

It’s a day of opportunities, learning, and skills at the World Café of Opportunities (WCO) @ Career and Skills Expo 2026, happening today, August 21, 2026, at Robinsons Roxas, Pueblo de Panay Township, Brgy. Lawa-an, Roxas City, Capiz.

Aside from connecting jobseekers and TESDA graduates with employment opportunities, TESDA Capiz brings Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) closer to the public through TESDA Trivia, Skills Demonstrations, and Exhibits featuring the talents, expertise, and training programs of our Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) and TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs).

SKILLS DEMONSTRATIONS
Participants and mallgoers can witness actual demonstrations of various technical-vocational skills, including:

TESDA TRIVIA
Visitors can also join the TESDA Trivia, an interactive activity that tests their knowledge about TESDA, TVET programs, qualifications, scholarships, and skills development while making learning more engaging and enjoyable.

TVI/TTI EXHIBITS
Different TVIs and TTIs are also showcasing their training programs, products, services, innovations, and technical-vocational skills, giving visitors an opportunity to learn more about the training and career pathways available through TESDA.

Through these activities, TESDA Capiz continues to promote skills development as a pathway toward employment, entrepreneurship, productivity, and lifelong learning.

TESDA Capiz Brings Skills and Opportunities Closer at WCO @ Career and Skills Expo 2026

TODAY | August 21, 2026— TESDA Capiz Provincial Office joins the World Café of Opportunities (WCO) @ Career and Skills Expo 2026 at Robinsons Roxas, Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City, Capiz, bringing together employment opportunities, skills development, career guidance, and technical-vocational education and training (TVET) services in one venue.

In partnership with the Provincial Government of Capiz through PESO Capiz, the activity provides TESDA graduates, trainees, job seekers, students, and other interested individuals an opportunity to connect with prospective employers, explore available job opportunities, and learn more about TESDA programs and services.

One of the highlights of today’s activity is the Skills Demonstration conducted by participating Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) and TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs), showcasing various competencies and practical skills—from culinary and food processing to wellness, digital technology, creative skills, and other TVET qualifications.

TESDA Capiz, headed by Acting Provincial Director Ariel Reckonette B. Villanueva, DPA, extends its appreciation to all participating TVIs, TTIs, partner agencies, employers, industry partners, and stakeholders for their valuable support and participation in making the activity possible.

Through the WCO @ Career and Skills Expo 2026, TESDA continues to strengthen the connection between skills training and employment, helping Capizeños turn their skills into meaningful career and livelihood opportunities.
