🚀🛜 CALINOG GOES LIVE WITH APCAS: DIGITAL INNOVATION MEETS REAL-TIME PUBLIC SERVICE!

Another milestone in civil registration modernization unfolds in the Province of Iloilo as the Local Government Unit of Calinog officially goes live with the Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System (APCAS) following the successful two-day training on August 26–27, 2026. Highlighting the rollout were the first five (5) Calinognons who successfully availed of APCAS during the live implementation, becoming the municipality’s pioneering beneficiaries of a more streamlined, efficient, and technology-driven process for administrative petitions.

The successful rollout was made possible through the full support of Mayor Francisco “Ico” Calvo and the leadership of Municipal Civil Registrar Ma. Ailyn Carrera-Campos, together with the dedicated personnel of LCRO Calinog. Their commitment to embracing technology demonstrates how strong LGU-PSA partnership can translate digital innovation into better and more accessible frontline services for the people of Calinog. 💙💛❤️

The training and live implementation were facilitated by RO II Excel C. Tacaisan and RO I Nelyn C. Huyong of PSA Iloilo. The activity was further strengthened through the support and sharing of actual implementation experiences by MCR Mary Ann Pascual of LCRO Tigbauan and MCR Percylette Quidato of LCRO Guimbal, together with their personnel, who provided valuable peer guidance and technical assistance during the rollout.

From learning the system to putting it into action, Calinog is now APCAS-ready and operational! This achievement adds another LGU to Iloilo’s growing network of digitally empowered civil registry offices, bringing government services closer to the people through innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.

🛜 LEGANES TURNS INNOVATION INTO SERVICE: APCAS OPENS A NEW DIGITAL PATH FOR CIVIL REGISTRATION

The Municipality of Leganes takes another progressive step in strengthening public service as its Local Civil Registry Office successfully completed the two-day training on the Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System (APCAS) on August 24–25, 2026, paving the way for the system’s successful implementation in the municipality.

Highlighting the activity was the successful processing of the first client through APCAS during the live implementation, marking the first Leganesnon to benefit from the municipality’s newly adopted digital system. This milestone demonstrates how technology can translate into faster, more efficient, accurate, and client-centered civil registration services for the community.

The training was facilitated by RO II Excel C. Tacaisan and RO I Nelyn C. Huyong of PSA Iloilo, who provided hands-on guidance to the LCRO personnel from system familiarization to actual live processing.

PSA Iloilo expresses its sincere appreciation to Mayor Vicente P. “JunJun” Jaen II for his strong support for initiatives that improve frontline government services, and to Municipal Civil Registrar Jay-R G. Matutina and the entire LCRO Leganes team for their commitment to embracing digital innovation in civil registration.

With APCAS now operational in Leganes, another municipality moves forward in PSA Iloilo’s continuing expansion of modern, responsive, and citizen-centered civil registration services across the province.

𝐏𝐒𝐀 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐏𝐀𝐃 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦

The Municipality of Oton, headed by Hon. Sofronio L. Fusin Jr., Municipal Mayor, received a tablet from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Iloilo Provincial Statistical Office to support the Livestock and Poultry Administrative Data (LaPAD) Reporting System.

The equipment will help ensure efficient encoding, monitoring, and submission of livestock and poultry data.

The tablet was received in behalf of the Municipal Mayor by Municipal Administrator Ms. Ma. Diadema T. Vigo and MCR Head Atty. Rigenne B. Donesa.

The Municipality of Oton sincerely appreciates the PSA Iloilo Provincial Statistical Office for its continued support.
