PhilHealth has alredy saturated the municipality after 3 years. PhilHealth AlaGa Ka Program (AlaGa means Alamin at Gamitin ang benepisyong PhilHealth) is an integrated advocacy
campaign of the Corporation in partnership with DOH, DSWD and the Local Government Units to reach out indigent families especially those who are living in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) by bringing our services closer to them. PhilHealth RO6 has started this endeavor since CY 2014 with the support of the Local Government Unit of Caluya headed by it's very supportive Mayor Genevive L. AlaGa Ka activities consist of Member Data Record (MDR) distribution for NHTS-PR members, Pantawid members and Senior Citizens, Updating of Records, PhilHealth orientations, Enlistment and Profiling of Caluya RHU personnnel. This partnership is very vital since if we may recall, PhilHealth provides this policy that no more documentary requirements is required once a PhilHealth member wishes to update their records with PhilHealth. This is in compliance to RA 10606 otherwise known as the National Health Insurance Act of 2013 to simplify our members experience once they transact with PhilHealth. The team observed that after 3 years, most of our members are well informed of their rights and privileges under the Kalusugang Pangkalahatan and most of their records are UPDATED!
