Madamo guid nga salamat sa aton CSWDO kag sa aton bug-os nga Iloilo City Government sa madasig nga pag-responde kag pagbulig sa mga apektado nga pamilya.

Sa mga kasubong sini nga sitwasyon, kabay nga indi kita madulaan sang paglaum kag padayon kita nga magbuligay kag mangamuyo para sa gilayon nga pagbangon.💙

Ang Iloilo City may manggaranon nga kultura. Makit-an naton ini sa aton nga pagkaon, festivals, heritage buildings, arts, music, traditions, kag sa mga istorya nga nagapakita kon sin-o kita bilang mga Ilonggo.

We must not highlight and celebrate our culture only during festivals or special occasions. Ang aton kultura dapat padayon nga ginaprotektahan kag ginapasanyog.

Through this ordinance, luyag naton nga may ara gid sang permanente nga grupo nga magabantay, magaplano, kag magabulig sa pagprotektar kag pagpasanyog sang aton kultura, regardless of who leads the City.

Our culture is not just about our past. It is part of who we are today, and it is our responsibility to protect it and pass it on to the next generation of Ilonggos.

Nagatinguha sa gihapon ang aton syudad agud mahatagan sang mas permanente nga solusyon ang ining aton problema. Gani kabay, padayon man kita nga magbuligay kag mag-ugyon para kauswagan sang tanan.

Congratulations to all our campers who took part in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines District Camp at Jalandoni Memorial Elementary School, anchored on the theme “Scouting: Safety, Service, Security for a Safer School Community.”

Scouting builds in our young people inyo the value of being prepared to serve through discipline, courage, and sense of responsibility.

Bilang inyo Amigo, nagapati kita nga paagi sa inyo matun-an sa sining scouting activity, sa pila ka adlaw, mangin effective and ready partner kamo sang aton syudad sa bulig sa aton kumunidad.

𝐆 𝐍𝐀 𝐆𝐈𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐆-𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐘𝐎.

Being young is never a limitation to serving. At 31, I entered public service with much to learn, but I grew up seeing firsthand what it means to serve the Ilonggos with sincerity and purpose.

Today, I reminded our young leaders that public service is not about age, titles, or promises. It is about intention, integrity, commitment, and the genuine desire to help others.

Bata pa kita, kag madamo pa kita matun-an. And that is okay. What matters is that we stay willing to listen, learn, and improve, while standing firm on the values that should never be compromised.

Kay ang youth leadership indi lang about having a position. It is about having a purpose.

So when the opportunity to serve comes, indi lang kita G. G na G gid kita para sa aton kabataan kag komunidad. 🇵🇭💙
