The Provincial Legal Office actively participated in the DOH Health Resilience System Project(HSRP) discussion and project implementation review held on August 13, 2026 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The activity aims to assess compliance and documentary requirement leading to the implementation of health resilience initiatives in recepient district hospitals and primary care facilities across municipalities.

Provincial Legal Office Joins SGGC Coordination Meeting-

The Provincial Legal Office (PLO) actively participated in the coordination meeting on the Smart Green Government Center (SGGC) with Sta. Barbara LGU.

During the meeting, the PLO presented the legal framework including the preparation of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Provincial Government of Iloilo and qualified beneficiaries to establish the terms and the responsibilities of both parties.

Also present during the meeting are key officials of Sta. Barbara LGU and the Punong Barangay of Bolong Este and Inangayan.

𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐋𝐆𝐔𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬-𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬

in view of the recent economic development following the ongoing geopolitical conflict in the Middle East, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) reminded LGUs on the continuing prohibition on the collection of pass-through fees pursuant to Executive Order No. 41 Series of 2023 and in relation to Executive Order No. 110 Series of 2026.

Under EO 41, "all LGUs are prohibited from collecting toll fees and charges upon all motor vehicles transporting goods or merchandise, while passing through any national roads and such other roads not constructed and funded by LGUs pursuant to Section 155 of RA No. 7160.”

Likewise, the DILG also encouraged LGUs on the “unhampered movement of essential goods, people, and services within their area of jurisdiction, through the temporary suspension or flexible implementation of truck bans, specifically for vehicles transporting essential goods.”
