Inspired by the art of origami, this year’s identity reminds us that every transformation begins with a single fold. Each crease represents the unique stories, perspectives, and experiences of the youth, different in shape, yet equally essential in creating something greater.

The vibrant colors, inspired by the Sangguniang Kabataan identity, celebrate the diversity of our generation. They represent the many voices, cultures, talents, and aspirations that make our community stronger, proving that our differences are not barriers, but our greatest strength.

Like the many currents that converge into the Iloilo River, our journeys may begin in different places, but they flow toward one shared purpose: to lead, to serve, and to create lasting change.

This is a reflection of every young Ilonggo, fold by fold, story by story, moving forward together.

🎒📚 PROJECT BALIK ESKWELA 2026 | A SUCCESS! 💙

The Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Libertad, District of Lapuz successfully conducted Project Balik Eskwela 2026, benefiting 50 young learners through the distribution of school supplies to help them prepare for the new academic year.

Beyond providing essential learning materials, the activity also featured an Online Safety discussion equipping our children with valuable knowledge on responsible digital citizenship and the importance of understanding and protecting their rights.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, Samahan ng Bagong Kabataan and the Iloilo City Federated Peer Support Group, our resource speakers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible.

As we believe, every notebook, pencil, and school bag represents more than just supplies—they are tools that inspire hope, confidence, and a brighter future for our youth.

Together, let us continue investing in education and empowering the next generation of leaders.
