𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬 I 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The afternoon session of PROJECT GABAY resumed with renewed energy and enthusiasm as participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) came together for another round of learning, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing. The session kicked off with a lively energizer led by the UniFAST Regional Coordinators, setting an upbeat atmosphere for the afternoon discussions.

The discussion proper then focused on Disbursement and Liquidation, facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗚. 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, UniFAST Regional Accountant. The session gave participants valuable insights into the processes, requirements, and responsibilities for using and liquidating TES and TDP funds properly and accountably.

To reinforce the key points discussed, participants once again took on a knowledge challenge, putting their understanding and attentiveness to the test. The friendly competition highlighted the participants' enthusiasm while adding an exciting element to the learning experience.

As the productive afternoon session drew to a close, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗚. 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗵.𝗗., Chief Education Program Specialist of CHED Regional Office VI, delivered the closing message, bringing together the key takeaways and reinforcing the importance of continued cooperation and commitment among CHEDRO VI, UniFAST, and participating HEIs.

PROJECT GABAY reminds us that effective program implementation is built on shared knowledge, strengthened coordination, and a collective commitment to accountability and service.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬 I 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

As part of the continuing efforts of CHED Regional Office VI – UniFAST to strengthen the understanding and implementation of RA 10931, 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬 brings together the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for a meaningful and engaging discussion on the latest policies, guidelines, and operational requirements governing the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP).

The morning session officially commenced with a meaningful Message and Statement of Purpose from the UniFAST Focal Person and OIC, Supervising Education Program Specialist of CHED Regional Office VI, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗛. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗵.𝗗.

This was followed by a message from the OIC, Supervising Administrative Officer, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗦. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗮, setting the tone for a productive and engaging learning session.

The discussion proper then focused on the New Guidelines and Templates for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗕. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗼, Lead Regional Coordinator of UniFAST Region VI. The session provided participating HEIs with important updates and practical guidance to support the proper, consistent, and effective implementation of the programs.

The morning session concluded on a high note with an engaging knowledge challenge, where participating HEIs put their understanding of the newly discussed TES and TDP guidelines to the test. The activity brought an added spirit of excitement and friendly competition as participants demonstrated their knowledge and accuracy.

Ang Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931) ay isang mahalagang batas sa kasaysayan ng lalong mataas na edukasyon sa Pilipinas na nilagdaan noong Agosto 3, 2017.

Ngayong ika-9 na anibersaryo nito, ipinagdiriwang ng UniFAST ang siyam na taon ng pagpapatupad ng batas na nagpalawak ng akses sa de-kalidad na edukasyon para sa milyun-milyong kabataang Pilipino. Higit pa sa pinansyal na suporta, ang RA 10931 ay nagbukas ng mga oportunidad, nagbigay ng pag-asa sa mga pamilya, at nagbigay-daan sa mas maraming kabataan na makapagpatuloy at makapagtapos ng kanilang pag-aaral.

Bilang tagapagpatupad ng mga programa sa ilalim ng RA 10931, tulad ng 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗙𝗛𝗘), 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘆 (𝗧𝗘𝗦), at 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗧𝗗𝗣), patuloy nitong isinusulong ang paniniwalang ang edukasyon ay susi sa pagbibigay-kakayahan sa bawat Pilipinong mabago ang kanilang buhay at sa paghubog ng mas maunlad na kinabukasan para sa bansa.
