Parent Effectiveness Service (PES): A Level Up for Project JEN!
Parenting for a Better JENeration

Joint parental responsibility to
End or lessen the incidence of
Neglected and rebellious children

Ms. Pete Mhee Grajales, PPO1 of Guimbal, has started a series of Parenting Effectiveness Service (PES) sessions under Project JEN, Parenting for a Better JENeration, aimed at strengthening parents’ knowledge, skills, and commitment to raising children in a safe, caring, and supportive home and environment.

Today’s session was participated in by the parents of children enrolled at the NCDC and Generosa C. Colon Child Development Centers.

“The goal of Project JEN is not to teach parents perfection. Parenting does not come with a manual; rather, this initiative aims to serve as a guide for every Guimbalanon parent. A child’s foundation begins at home, and who we become is greatly shaped by how we were raised.”

Through PES, Project JEN continues to promote positive parenting, shared parental responsibility, and stronger family relationships—because preventing neglect and addressing challenging behaviors begin with understanding, guidance, and love at home.

Together, let us nurture stronger families, raise responsible and resilient children, and ensure that the sun shines brightest for the daughters and sons of Guimbal. ☀️💛

👨‍👧‍👦 Fatherhood Matters: A Paternal Responsibility Symposium

Ms. Pete Mhee Grajales, PPO1 of Guimbal, conducted a symposium for the ERPAT members of Barangay Cabubugan, Guimbal.

The symposium focused on important topics such as Paternal Duties and Responsibilities, the Roles of a Father, and the Effects of Domestic Violence on Children. The discussion emphasized the vital role of fathers in building safe, loving, and responsible families.

We extend our gratitude to all the elected and appointed officials of Barangay Cabubugan, headed by Hon. Jeffrey Bade, Punong Barangay, for giving us the opportunity to share insights on responsible and positive paternal parenting.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Hon. Kim Gesulgon for initiating this meaningful activity, and to all the ERPAT members who actively participated today.

Let us continue to work together in strengthening families and promoting responsible fatherhood because A strong and responsible father helps build a strong and resilient family. 💙

PPO and BSPO Guimbal Join Tanum PPO, Tanum BSPO 2026 💚🌱

PPO and BSPO Guimbal proudly participated in Province-wide Tanum PPO, Tanum BSPO 2026 initiative in support of a greener, healthier, and more progressive Iloilo Province.

The activity was joined by Ms. Janel Tejida, FOD of the Office of the Provincial Population Officer; Ms. Lea Mae Carillo and Mr. Jerves William Alegata, staff of the Office of the Population Program Officer; together with Ms. Pete Mhee Grajales, PPO I Guimbal and 42 active Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPOs) of the Municipality of Guimbal.

Through this meaningful tree-planting activity, participants demonstrated their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development, helping create a greener future for the people of Iloilo.
