Dako nga oportunidad bilang maging empleyado sang gobyerno kag makahatag serbisyo sa mga pumuluyo sang Cuidad sang Iloilo kag maging parte sang pagpa-USWAG sang aton cuidad. Ginasigurado gid sang mga empleyado nga makahatag sang mayo nga pangabuhi sa tanan paagi sa pag-cater sa kinanglanon sang pumuluyo, pagsigurado nga masolusyunan ang mga concerns kag transactions nga kinahanglan. Si Maribeth F. Teves sang Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz isa ka Job Hire employee sang Iloilo City Hall.

Social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, play a vital role in the dissemination of information. It has has changed the way we communicate, do business, get our daily news fix and so much more. The most obvious pros of using social networks are the ability to instantly connect with people, know real-time news and information discovery, great opportunities for business owners, and for general fun and enjoyment. However, it is no secret that there's also a dark side in using social media platforms. There is the rise of misinformation and fake news. The freedom to post any content given to social media users, paired with the lack of accountability from social media platforms enabled the proliferation of fake news. Anne Uy of Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz responsibly uses social media platforms and would like to stop or discredit fake news peddlers.

“One of the Social Media platform i am usually engaged with is Facebook. One of the biggest social media flat forms popularly used by over 2.9 billion active users from different walks of life. Through facebook, we could be able to connect with different kinds of people, relatives far from us, unknown personalities and friends of friends. It is where we share photograhs, post comments and post links to news and other interesting contents which maybe true misleading. Therefore, this is also the most convenient source of fake news and disinformation now a days. So how can we avoid this? Always check the author of the content we are viewing. Make sure to have a reliable and reputable source for news and other information which should be evidenced-based, provide an in-depth and ubiased content and with a well known reputation of being trustworthy author over time. Stop the soreading of all this fake news and disinformation. Be vigilant and don't just believe with what the web oahe is telling us about something or someone. Do a web search to find out and to determine the accuracy of the information.”

Igaproklamar na subong nga adlaw ang dugang naton nga tinggog sa Kongreso, ang Uswag Ilonggo Partylist nga gina-representar sang first nominee sini nga si James Ang Jr.

Nalakip sa top 10 partylists sa bug-os nga pungsod ang Uswag Ilonggo Partylist kag nakakuha sang ika-walo nga pwesto.

Sa kabilugan, nakatipon sang 689,536 votes ang Uswag Ilonggo Partylist halin sa nagkalain-lain nga mga probinsya sa bug-os nga Pilipinas, lakip na sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers.

Ipatigayon naman alas-kwatro karon sa hapon sa PICC Complex ang proklamasyon.

THE CALL FOR LIGTAS BALIK-ESKWELA! 📣📚

Covid-19 pandemic has brought many challenges and one of which is the access to inclusive and quality education. With the inevitable shift to online and modular classes, both have their own share of advantages and disadvantages. Students had to face an overwhelming increase in academic workload, internet connectivity issues, and lack of physical interaction with peers. This has brought a bigger question of what the goal of our education really is: for learning or for mere compliance?

This is why the call for “LIGTAS BALIK-ESKWELA” is at a height. This is an inclusive campaign that considers the welfare of students, teachers, and school staff by encouraging long-term, sustainable plans of action for education. In the simplest term, this pushes for a safe return to school despite the Covid-19 pandemic. John Paul Sabido of Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz is one of those who wishes for face-to-face classes to resume.
“Ako si Rex Gabriel Necor, Grade 9 Student sang CPUJHS. Halin pag sugod sang pandemic, 2 na ka tuig kami nga naga online class. Madamo sang mga challenges ang online class, preho sang internet connection issues. Kun hina ang signal, indi maintindihan sang maayo ang gina lecture sang maestra/maestro. Kun mag brown out or may problema ang internet provider sa amon lugar ma absent gid kami sa klase namon. Kun bilog nga adlaw ako naga tubang sa computer screen naga ka apektuhan ang akun mata kag ga sakit ang ulo. Indi man namon makilala sa personal ang amon mga maestra/maestro kag classmates.

Sa ini nga palaabuton nga pagbukas sang klase, pabor gid ako nga magbalik na ang face to face classes. Para ma amat-amat na ang pagbalik naton sa normal. Mas maintindihan gid ang ginatudlo sang amon maestra/maestro kag maka interact kami personally sa amon mga classmates, kag mas masadya ang pag eskwela kun mag face to face class.

Naga pasalamat gid ko sa National Government kag sa aton Local Government nga gin padayon ang mga klase despite nga nag pandemic. Wala nag untat ang amon pag-tuon bisan madamo nga mga challenges nga na agyan. And Thank God most of all, kay padayon ya kami gina bugayan kag wala gid gin pabay an.”

PHILIPPINES RANKS 4th IN THE 31st SEA GAMES VIETNAM 2021!

As Team Philippines officially concluded the 31st Sea Games Vietnam 2021 with 52 Gold, 70 Silver, and 107 Bronze medals, this lead us to rank 4th Place among the 11 participating nations! We congratulate and greatly thank our athletes for bringing pride and honor to our country. Dutch Cagayanan, a sports enthusiasts from Barangay Caingin, Lapaz can testify how sports can help boost one’s confidence and promote camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Nagapamatuod ini nga gusto sang mga Ilonggo ang padayon nga pag-USWAG sa aton Cuidad. Si Marvie Gales sang Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz isa sa 147,834 nga nagboto kay Cong. Baronda.

Sang nagligad nga eleksyon sang Mayo 9, ginpamatud-an liwat sang mga Ilonggo ang ila hugot nga suporta kag pagsalig kay Mayor Jerry P. Treñas nga magapadayon sa pagka-Mayor sa Cuidad sang Iloilo. Si Liza Depalubos sang Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz isa sa 187,691 nga nagboto kay Mayor Treñas.

"Sa nadumduman ko, sugod sang nag intra si Mayor Treñas sa politika, nagsugod man siya pananom sang programa sa diin ang mga pumuluyo sang ciudad sang Iloilo ang naka benebisyo. Masanag na ang kadalag-an sang aton na Uswag Ilonggo Party-list, No. 99 sa balota.

Nakuha sang Uswag Ilonggo Party-list ang Top 7 nga puesto sandig sa ginhimu nga survey sang OCTA Research.

Kon basehan ang Party Preference and Seat Allocations, sigurado na gid ang pagpungko sang Uswag Ilonggo Party-list sa Kongreso matapos nga nakakuha ini sang two seats.

Ang nakuha nga mataas nga boto sang Uswag Ilonggo Party-list ang pamatuod lamang nga nagapanguna ini sa tagipusuon sang mga Ilonggo sa palibot sang Rehiyon kag bilog nga Pilipinas.

The Philippine elections on May 9, 2022 will greatly determine the future of our country and our fellow Filipinos. About 37 million or 56% of the 65.7 million total voting population are youth voters. It goes to show that the youth plays a huge role in deciding our next leaders. -Wendy Abaygar is a youth voter from Barangay Divinagracia, Lapaz.
