Empowering Our Heroes: Cardiovascular Screening and CPR Training ❤️✈️

The Cardiovascular Care Center (CVCC) Adult Cardiology Fellows-in-Training and Medical Specialists, in partnership with the Philippine Heart Association (PHA) Western Visayas Panay Chapter, successfully conducted a comprehensive Preventive Cardiology Screening and Hands-on CPR Training for the personnel of the Tactical Operations Group 6 (TOG6), Philippine Air Force.

Held on March 10, 2026, at Camp General Adriano D. Hernandez in Di**le, Iloilo, this initiative aimed to ensure that those who protect our skies are also taking care of their hearts.

The day was filled with high-impact health initiatives, beginning with a comprehensive preventive screening where personnel underwent essential checks for blood sugar, blood pressure, and ECG monitoring. These screenings were followed by one-on-one medical consultations with our cardiology specialists, providing personalized health insights to the troops.
