Spearheaded by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), the activity underscores the importance of strengthened civilian oversight and collective efforts in preventing crime and promoting safer and more secure communities.
This yearβs celebration carries the theme:
βStrengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities.β
The event was attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the academe, various government agencies, and other stakeholders, highlighting the vital role of collaboration and community participation in crime prevention and the promotion of peace and order.
