Beley nagpahigayon ug usa ka Consultative Meeting uban sa mga Barangay Chairman for Committee on Agriculture ug mga Presidente sa SPECIAL INTERVENTION FOR AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS (S.I.A.O.) Program cm ONE BARANGAY ONE PRODUCT (OBOP) Projects sa 44 ka Barangays sa Iligan City nga didto gipahigayon sa Sweet Mommy's Cafe, Palao, ning dakbayan.

Sa maong consultative meeting gihisgutan ang mga suppprta gikan sa National, Regional ug Local line agencies alang sa nahisgutan nga Proyekto .

1. Si City Accountant Atty Jason John Alegarme, gipasabot ang mga legal ug official nga mga pama agi sa pag download ug pag liquidate sa project mobilization funds.

2. Gihisgutan usab ni Ms Richille Joy Gumera, Agriculturist I ang mga available funds gikan sa National, Regional ug local Agencies nga naka allocate para sa pag pa padayon ug pag pauswag. sa S.I.A.O. cm OBOP sa 44 ka Barangays

3. Nipadayag usab ang Chief Executive Officer sa MSU-IIT Coop, Palao Branch, Mr Albert B. Tean̈o sa mga services sa Cooperatiba ug ang Marketing Platform nga possible nga mka supporta kabahin sa pagpamaligya sa mga produkto sa mga mag uuma ug mga mangingisda

4. Gipasabot usab ni Mr. Kevin R. Fernan ang Focal Person ni Hon. Mayor Frederick W. Siao for Agri-Fishery Dev. nga ang SIAO cm OBOP usa ka brainchild Project sa City Agriculturit's Office nga gi implementar sa 44 ka barangays isip dugang nga pamaagi sa panginabuhian sa mga katawhan sa tibuok Iligan City ug kini ubos na sa sa usa ka City Ordinance.

5. Gidugang usab pgpasabot ni Engr Cristobal Tanael ang mga available nga mga makinarya nga maoy mka suporta sa production and processing dili lamamg sa S.I.A.O. cm OBOP Projects pero alang sa kinatibuk an nga implementation sa agrifishery dev program sa dakbayan.

6. Nitambong usab c Atty Albert Manosa nga maoy ni pasabot sa mga legal operational policies and guidelines sa maong proyekto.

Aprobado na sa Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Animal Industry (DA-BAI) ang komersyal nga pagpamaligya sa AVAC ASF LIVE, ang pinakaunang bakuna kontra African Swine Fever (ASF) alang sa aprobadong fatteners para sa publiko.

📍Affordable rice is now within reach for families in Iligan City through President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s P20-per-kilo rice program, an initiative of the National Government that brings affordable rice closer to local households.

In Iligan City, the program is supported by the City Government of Iligan through the City Agriculturist’s Office, with barangays assisting in the repacking and distribution of rice to qualified beneficiaries.

Residents of Barangay Mandulog have already received the discounted rice, while other barangays are set to receive theirs according to the scheduled distribution.

💬 Ritchel Joy Gomera, City Agriculturist's Office Agri-Business Coordinator, clarified that local beneficiary groups of the Benteng Bigas Meron na program are selected strictly according to national government guidelines to serve priority sectors like senior citizens, PWDs, 4Ps, and teachers.

The program is being brought closer to eligible beneficiaries through barangay-level distribution with support from the city government through the City Agriculturist's Office.
