𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 - The City Nutrition Council of Iligan convened on March 22 for its 1st Quarter Meeting at the City Health Office. Participated by dedicated stakeholders and government office representatives, the meeting aimed to address crucial nutritional concerns affecting the local community.

Ms. Sameeha Ali, who represented the Provincial Science and Technology Office of Lanao del Norte, promoted food technologies developed by DOST Food and Nutrition Research Institute and from DOST Industrial Technology Development Institute on salt iodization technology. She also mentioned the initiatives of DOST 10 that address food safety, and health and nutrition.

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗢-𝗜, 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘 - In a bid to promote relevant DOST services and programs aligned with agricultural innovation and economic growth, a consultative meeting and ocular inspection was conducted with 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺, 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 on March 21.

Proposed projects primarily focused on goat production, Virgin Coconut Oil making, and free-range chicken production. Additionally, the team extended a courtesy visit to the Local Government Unit of Balo-i with the Municipal Administrator Muhaimin Rasol.

Casan will be facilitated under DOST Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) while Ragonan will be catered for potential support from DOST Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) Program.

On March 19, joint teams from DOST 10's PSTO Lanao del Norte, Strategic Communications and Creative Unit, and GRIND project conducted a video shoot in honor of Lampakanay Weavers Association nomination for National Innovation Day.

This is in line with DOST's Grassroots Innovation for Inclusive Development (GRIND) Project, which aims to foster the comprehensive development of the nation through the implementation of community-driven solutions focused on sustainable progress. It endeavors to uplift marginalized communities by enhancing and nurturing their grassroots innovations (GIs).

The 21st Century Learning Environment Model (CLEM) is developed by the DOST Science Education Institute (SEI). It aims to create a learning ethe nvironment equipped with the integration of technology into the learning process to enhance student engagement and promote innovative teaching methods.

The 21st Century Learning Environment Model (CLEM) is developed by the DOST Science Education Institute (SEI). It aims to create a learning environment equipped with the integration of technology into the learning process to enhance student engagement and promote innovative teaching methods.
