𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁-𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

The successful Gift-Giving Activity held on December 17, 2025, led by JCI Iligan in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Iligan Bay and SK Del Carmen, brought joy and much-needed school supplies to the learners of Del Carmen Integrated School.

The activity aimed to support students by providing school bags and essential learning materials, helping prepare them for their academic journey. As part of the initiative, SK Del Carmen donated school supplies, specifically 120 notebooks and 120 coloring books, which were distributed to the beneficiaries.

Partner organizations personally handed out the gifts, fostering a spirit of bayanihan and service. SK Del Carmen, through SK Kagawad Lieza Butcon and SK Kagawad Kate Jagudilla, actively took part in the distribution and support of the activity, helping ensure the success of the program and a warm experience for the learners.

The collective efforts of JCI Iligan, the Rotaract Club of Iligan Bay, and SK Del Carmen underscored the value of strong partnerships in advancing education and youth welfare. On behalf of SK Del Carmen, we are honored by this collaboration and look forward to more meaningful partnerships in the coming year.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Del Carmen successfully conducted the 3rd Wave of the SK CARES Payout on December 13, providing timely financial assistance to qualified youth beneficiaries of the barangay.

The SK CARES program aims to support students’ education and recognize their hard work and dedication. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely assistance, which motivates them to continue excelling in their studies.

SK Del Carmen, represented by SK Kagawad Jun Clyde Partulan and France Delima, participated in the Iliganon Youth Governance Bootcamp held on October 11–12 at Ditucalan National High School.

The activity is part of the Capacitating Urban Communities for Peace and Development (CUCPD) program of DILG Iligan, in collaboration with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and the SK Federation of Iligan City, aimed at enhancing leadership skills and strengthening youth participation in community development.

𝗦𝗞 𝗗𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

On October 4, prior to the distribution of exam kits, a comprehensive mock exam was conducted to help students assess their readiness for upcoming college entrance tests.

After the mock exam, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Del Carmen distributed exam kits to 30 Grade 12 students who participated in the College Entrance Exam Review. Each kit contained essential school supplies to aid them during their exams.

This initiative aims to motivate students and demonstrate the SK’s continuous support for the academic growth and aspirations of the youth.

A two-day College Entrance Exam Review was held last September 20–21 at Del Carmen Integrated School, benefitting 30 Grade 12 students. The activity aimed to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed for upcoming college entrance exams.

Special thanks to Sir Elmer Villanueva and the Del Carmen Integrated School administration for their support and for allowing the use of the school facilities to ensure the success of the program.
