ICWS - NEW DIGITAL QUEUEING SYSTEM
The Iligan City Waterworks System (ICWS), in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Center (ICTC) of the Local Government of Iligan, has officially initiated the installation of a new Digital Queueing System at the ICWS Main Office in Palao as part of its continuing modernization and customer service enhancement program.
A coordination meeting regarding the implementation of the system was recently conducted between ICTC Head Mr. Oyes Lagapa, ICWS Acting Department Head Engr. Hubert G. Reyes, and Head of Customer Services Division Engr. Glenn C. Villacin to discuss the operational framework, customer flow improvements, and integration of digital solutions within the agency’s frontline services.
The new digital queueing system aims to improve the overall experience of concessionaires and clients transacting at the ICWS Main Office, particularly in the payment of water bills and customer service-related concerns. Through the system, customers will experience a more organized, systematic, and efficient process while waiting for their transactions to be accommodated.
The initiative is expected to help reduce overcrowding, improve transaction efficiency, and provide better monitoring of customer queues inside the office. It also supports the city government’s ongoing push for digital transformation and improved public service delivery through the use of modern technology.
According to ICWS officials, the project reflects the agency’s commitment to continuously improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while adapting to innovative service solutions for the benefit of the Iliganons.
The collaboration between ICWS and ICTC further strengthens inter-office cooperation in developing smarter and more responsive government services aimed at enhancing the quality of service provided to the public.
