ILIGAN CITY AIR QUALITY UPDATE
September 04, 2026 as of 03:00 PM
🟣 Iligan City Station: 241 — Acutely Unhealty
✅ DO THIS
• Limit prolonged outdoor activities, especially when the haze is visibly heavy.
• Wear a properly fitted face mask when going outside. For significant particulate pollution, a well-fitted N95 is a practical option.
• Keep children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with asthma, heart disease, or respiratory conditions from prolonged outdoor exposure.
• Stay hydrated and keep indoor air as clean as possible.
• Monitor for symptoms such as coughing, throat irritation, eye irritation, or difficulty breathing.
• Seek medical attention if symptoms persist, worsen, or include difficulty breathing or chest discomfort.
❌ PLEASE DON'T
• Don't exercise, jog, or engage in strenuous outdoor activities when air quality is poor.
• Don't burn leaves, garbage, plastics, or other materials. Avoid open burning.
• Don't unnecessarily idle vehicles, especially in areas where people are exposed to exhaust.
• Don't assume that because you feel fine, prolonged exposure is harmless.
• Don't spread unverified AQI readings or alarming claims. Check official air-quality monitoring data first.
WHO NEEDS EXTRA CAUTION?
Children • Senior citizens • Pregnant women • People with asthma • People with heart or respiratory conditions
