A day of coordinated efforts and meaningful outcomes—simultaneous activities carried out by our team across Lanao del Norte.
Trainings, hospital meetings, and project inspections were conducted to further our mission and strengthen our impact.

🌴POBLACION, BACOLOD –
Training on Good Cultural Management Practices for Coconut
Conducted in partnership with DTI–RAPID LDN as the host agency, with Agriculturists from PCA–Lanao del Norte serving as resource speakers.
Attended by selected coconut farmers in Bacolod, who actively participated in the activity, equipping them with knowledge on modern, beneficial practices that can be applied to their farms.

🌴 HEALTH and MEDICAL PROGRAM -
The Regional Health and Medical Division, together with PCA–LDN personnel, visited hospitals and key stakeholders for project updates and further coordination. This includes Hospitalization & Medical Care Assistance and Mobile Health Services. Beneficiaries must be fully-verified NCFRS registered coconut farmers.

🌴PROJECT INSPECTION -
The regional technical staff and PCA–LDN personnel conducted inspection and monitoring of planting programs and projects for Calendar Year 2025, ensuring that quality standards are upheld in every initiative that benefits our coconut farmers.

𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝟒𝟒 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐨𝐬 (𝘉𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴) 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.

On April 06, 2026 the Philippine Coconut Authority- Lanao del Norte together with Philippine Carabao Center conducted a turn-over ceremony at barangay Piangamangaan, Poona Piagapo.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries from the Philippine Coconut Authority – Lanao del Norte, in accordance with the directives of PCA Region 10 Regional Manager Yvette B. Guanzon, and led by Engr. Mohammad-Faiz M. Macakiling, Provincial Manager. Also present were Engr. Carl Paul G. Alicante, Senior Agriculturist; Safrollah P. Macada-ag, the assigned Agriculturist in Poona Piagapo; Engr. Ansary D. Arsa; Norjannah D. Sulog; Salma G. Arsa; and Sittie Norjanah M. Maidan.

Also in attendance was the Director of the Philippine Carabao Center, Dir. Cecelio G. Velez, together with his staff.

This 𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, under the Coconut–Carabao Development Project—a component of the Coconut Village Development Project—is a joint 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩 of the Philippine Coconut Authority R10 and the Philippine Carabao Center, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Poona Piagapo, Lanao del Norte.

The project aims to strengthen food security and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for coconut farming families through the provision of dairy carabaos and dairy boxes.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Poona Piagapo, headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Engr. Ashley D. Raki-in and Vice Mayor Hon. Rasol O. Mamarinta, the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Nasif O. Mamarinta, as well as to all barangay officials, cooperative members, guests, and stakeholders for their invaluable support.

Dalawang taon na ang nakalipas mula nang manumpa, noong ika-11 ng Marso 2024, si 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑. 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 bilang Administrator at CEO ng Philippine Coconut Authority, at mula noon, walang humpay ang pagkilos, reporma, at pagbabagong nagtataguyod sa industriya ng niyog at nagbibigay-buhay sa milyon-milyong magniniyog sa bansa.

Sa pamumunong may malasakit at malinaw na direksiyon, pinaigting ang mga programa para sa mga magniniyog, pinalawak ang mga ugnayan sa loob at labas ng bansa, at higit na pinatatag ang institusyon upang makapaghatid ng mas mahusay, at mas makabuluhang serbisyo sa sambayanan.
