Iliganon Product Branding 2025: Bridging Creativity and Commerce
June 30-July4, 2025
Iliganon Product Branding is a strategic initiative that promotes the unique identity, culture, and business of Iligan City’s local products. The 5-day workshop is set to empower MSMEs and local creatives collaboration to enhance the visibility and marketability of Iliganon products.
As part of the workshop, Ms. Charmaine Caminade facilitated Session 4: Collaborative Session with MSMEs – Design Application and Mock-ups, where participants actively learned to use design tools such as Photoshop, created logos, certificates, and developed product branding concepts.
During the training, Hon. Mayor Frederick W. Siao visited the activity conducted by the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions (LEDIP) Office to show his support and extend his appreciation to all participants. He emphasized that this initiative will help business owners improve their logos and packaging in ways that better reflect their brand identity—with the valuable support of Iligan’s talented artists. He also shared that through this collaboration, artists can better understand and embody the essence of each brand, helping bring Iligan’s name to the forefront of economic and creative industries.
This was followed by Session 5: Presentation of Prototypes, Feedback Panel, and Finalization, where designs were refined through expert critique and peer review.
Participants appreciated and enjoyed the hands-on experience, gaining practical design skills and creative insights.
Councilor Atty. Marlene Young also visited the training and expressed her appreciation for the workshop and the outputs produced by the participants. She commended the initiative for promoting creativity and collaboration that support local business growth and cultural pride.
As part of the next phase, a B2B Packaging Support and Supplier Forum will be conducted between August to September 2025 under Phase 3 of the training. The initiative will culminate in a Product Launch and Cultural Exhibiton October 28, 2025, during the Iliganon Business Month, marking the final phase of the activity.
