Highlighting the outstanding teamwork and dedication of our personnel, we are pleased to announce that our Office has successfully completed and duly submitted the City Government of Iligan’s Financial Statements for Calendar Year 2025 to the Commission on Audit today.

Indeed, through the exceptional efforts of our team, we were able to close the financial statements for CY 2025 ahead of the mandated deadline as a demonstration of our commitment to consistently providing excellent public service.

Please be advised that in order to sufficiently prepare for the timely submission of the reportorial requirements established by the Commission on Audit (CoA), which includes the Annual Financial Reports, and in order to provide ample time for all concerned in the preparation and issuance of documentary support of claims including, but not limited to, Purchase Orders and Inspection and Acceptance Reports to be issued by the City General Services Office, ALL concerned are hereby informed that the date set for the closing of books for Calendar Year 2024 shall be on January 10, 2025 (Friday).

Please note that the date set is the non-extendible period of submission for ALL kinds of claims that transpired within the CY 2024, both for PAYMENT and for FUND OBLIGATION.

Kindly give this matter your utmost attention and be reminded also to comply with the documentary support of claims as stated per COA Circular No. 2012-001 and other relevant laws.
