The Public Safety Office (PSO) of PGI was created through Ordinance No. 1 Series of 2012 which was amended by Ordinance No. 2 Series of 2014 entitled “ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF ISABELA AND PROVINDING FUNDS THEREFOR”. Our Vision: The Provincial Public Safety Office is committed to the vision of a civilized society that has the characteristics of law and order; where its existence is fundamentally anchored on the efficiency of government, to maintain and enhance public safety and order, provide comfort and their well-being are protected and at the same time, enlist their active participation in nation building. Our Mission: The Provincial Public Safety Office shall strive to improve the delivery of Public Safety Services through coordinative efforts for any call or need of the public for police, fire marshals, rescue and medical assistance. To help provide the basic welfare, protect human rights, preserve and protect the environment, provide training and education and community awareness programs on matters pertaining to the personal safety and security of its inhabitants in times of calamities and disasters, crime prevention, terrorism and other forms of security threats that encompass public safety and order. PSO personnel spearheaded by Public Order and Safety Office Kim Patrick G. Agbayani, together with PNP-IPPO and Ilagan CPS, PNP-iSMART, POSMO-Ilagan, BFP-Isabela, PDRRMO/CDRRMO-Ilagan, PECU, 201 RMFB2, 95th IB Army, PESO, and PSG, were on the ground to assist in security deployment, traffic, parking, and crowd-control management during the Simultaneous Nationwide Culminating Event of "Handog Ng Pangulo 2026" held at the Capital Arena, Alibagu, City of Ilagan, Isabela today, September 14, 2026.

This is part of the Provincial Government of Isabela's continuing commitment, under the leadership of Governor Rodolfo T. Albano III, to support nationwide initiatives and projects.

Tejada attended the Joint Regular Business Meeting of the Provincial Development Council (PDC), Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) for the Third Quarter, held at the GFNDY Sr. Session Hall.

The meeting tackled key agenda items including the province's preparation for El Niño, the peace and order and insurgency situation of Isabela, the ECLIP Committee's accomplishments, the illegal drug situation in the province, and the accomplishments of the PTF-ELCAC.

Public Order and Safety Officer Kim Patrick G. Agbayani attended the 8th Executive Development Summit (EDS2026) with a theme “Safe Spaces in Emergence,” held at the Savoy Hotel Manila, Pasay City.

The summit gathered Committees on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) practitioners, executives, legal officers, and safety/security personnel from various institutions nationwide. Participants worked on updating CODI manuals, refining investigative workflows, and strengthening report-writing skills in line with current laws and standards on workplace safety and gender-responsive practices.

📍BENCHMARKING ACTIVITY | PSO hosts MLGU San Mariano Traffic Enforcers

The Public Safety Office (PSO) welcomed the Traffic Enforcers of MLGU San Mariano for a Bench Marking Activity cm 1-Day Capacity Development Training today, September 4, 2026 held at the PSO-PSWDO Conference Room.

Led by POSO Designate/LDRRMO II Jerome M. Bumanglag, the visiting delegation gained hands-on insights into PSO’s administrative functions, logistical assets, and best practices in operations particularly traffic & parking management, radio communication, crowd control and emergency response — capped off with a field simulation exercise with special participation of POSMO-Ilagan along Maharlika Highway, Alibagu, City of Ilagan.

This marks PSO’s 4th benchmarking activity with partner LGUs reflecting continued commitment to strengthening public safety.
