HAPPENING NOW:

This day marks the Land Registration Authority’s (LRA) 120th year since the Philippine Commission enacted Act 496, known as Land Registration Law, which established the Court of Land Registration (CLR) and the office of the Register of Deeds, thereby institutionalizing the Torrens System, which took effect on 01 February 1903.

To date, the LRA has continued to modernize its operations by implementing the Land Titling Computerization Project to ensure easier transaction of the public in accordance with this years’ theme "Registering with Integrity, Innovating through Technology.”

The Land Registration Authority-Registry of Deeds for the Province of Isabela joins in the observance of the 𝟏𝟖-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 (𝐕𝐀𝐖) from November 25 to December 12, 2022, with the theme: “𝑈𝑁𝑖𝑇𝐸𝑑 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑉𝐴𝑊-𝑓𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠."

President Ferdinand R. Marcos signed a proclamation declaring October 31 as a special non-working holiday, as announced by Office of the Press Secretary Officer-in-Charge Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil in a press briefing today.

The President made the declaration to boost local tourism and allow workers to have time for their families.
