As part of the celebration of the 46th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Aguinaldo, we are calling on notable and successful Aguinaldoans to nominate individuals who have achieved excellence in their chosen fields, served with distinction, and brought pride and honor to our municipality.

Who may be nominated?
Deserving Aguinaldoans who have made significant achievements or contributions in their respective fields, particularly those who have attained the rank of Major or higher/equivalent in the military and uniformed services, including the AFP, Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy/Marines, PNP, PCG, BFP, and BJMP.

Graduates of PMA, PMMA, PNPA, and other recognized military or uniformed-service academies who have achieved notable positions, awards, or accomplishments may likewise be nominated.

𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗗𝗢 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗜𝗡 𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗢

UBAO, AGUINALDO, IFUGAO — September 7, 2026 — The Aguinaldo District Sports Selection Meet 2026 officially opened on September 7 at Ubao National High School, Ubao, Aguinaldo, Ifugao, bringing together young student-athletes from across the district for two days of competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.

Anchored on the theme “Strong in Body, Bright in Mind, One District We Shine,” the opening ceremony highlighted the importance of sports in developing not only the physical strength of learners but also their discipline, confidence, teamwork, and determination.

Municipal Mayor Hon. Clemente S. Talusig served as the Keynote Speaker, encouraging the participating student-athletes to give their best, compete with integrity, and value the lessons and friendships that come with their sporting journey. He also expressed his support for the district's efforts to nurture young talents and provide them with opportunities to grow through sports.

The formal opening of the District Sports Selection Meet was declared by Gina Attaban, Public Schools District Supervisor, officially setting the stage for the various sporting competitions scheduled on September 7–8, 2026.

Also present during the opening were barangay officials, school personnel, coaches, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders who gathered to show their support for the young athletes.

Beyond the pursuit of victory, the two-day meet serves as a venue for learners to demonstrate sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and excellence, embodying the spirit of one Aguinaldo District where every young athlete is given the opportunity to shine.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗗𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 ₱𝟯𝟬-𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚

LAMUT, IFUGAO — The Municipality of Aguinaldo, through Mayor Clemente S. Talusig, received a ₱30-million project allocation during the Groundbreaking and Turnover Ceremony of the OPAPRU–PAMANA Project held today in Lamut, Ifugao.

The funding will support the implementation of a Farm-to-Market Road project in Aguinaldo, Ifugao, aimed at improving access and connectivity for communities, particularly in areas where better road infrastructure can help facilitate the movement of people, agricultural products, and essential services.

Mayor Talusig personally received the project funding on behalf of the Municipality of Aguinaldo, marking another step in the municipality’s continuing efforts to bring development projects closer to its communities.

The ceremony was attended by OPAPRU–PAMANA Secretary Hon. Mel Senen S. Sarmiento, Governor Jerry U. Dalipog, local government officials, and members of the uniformed personnel.

The project reflects the continuing partnership between the national and local governments in advancing infrastructure development and creating better opportunities for communities. For Aguinaldo, the ₱30-million investment represents not only improved roads, but also better access, stronger connectivity, and greater opportunities for its people.

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

POSNAAN, AGUINALDO, IFUGAO | September 4, 2026 — The second part of the Pulong-Pulong sa Posnaan centered on an open forum where residents had the opportunity to directly share their concerns, suggestions, and appreciation with Municipal Mayor Hon. Clemente S. Talusig and representatives of various municipal offices.

Among the matters discussed was the resumption of the electric subsidy, which was welcomed and appreciated by residents. Concerns regarding the implementation of the Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) were also raised, along with issues concerning roads, RSBSA, the transformer in Sitio Uneg, and other community needs.

The concerned municipal offices actively responded to the queries raised by the residents, providing clarifications, information, and appropriate responses based on their respective mandates and areas of responsibility. This allowed the community to directly communicate with the offices responsible for addressing specific concerns.

Mayor Talusig also listened to the discussions and took note of the issues raised during the forum, reinforcing the importance of addressing concerns through direct communication between the local government and the community.

Now on its third barangay, the Mayor's Pulong-Pulong initiative continues to provide a platform for open dialogue, allowing the Municipal Government to bring its programs and services closer to the people while gaining a better understanding of the concerns and needs of each community.

POSNAAN, AGUINALDO, IFUGAO | September 4, 2026 — The Municipal Government of Aguinaldo continued its Pulong-Pulong initiative in Barangay Posnaan, the third barangay visited under the program initiated by Municipal Mayor Hon. Clemente S. Talusig.

The first part of the activity focused on the presentation of the various programs, services, projects, and initiatives of the Municipal Government, providing residents with information on the services available to them and the ongoing efforts of the different municipal offices.

The activity serves as part of the Mayor's initiative to bring the government closer to the people by directly reaching communities and ensuring that residents are informed about programs and services that they may avail of.

Through the Pulong-Pulong, the Municipal Government continues to strengthen public awareness, participation, and coordination between the LGU and the people it serves.

TALITE, AGUINALDO, IFUGAO | September 3, 2026 — The Aguinaldo People’s Hospital, headed by Dr. Bernardo B. Bulintao, M.D., conducted a dedication ceremony for its newly acquired ambulance, marking its readiness to support the hospital’s medical and emergency transport needs.

The dedication was officiated by Pastor William Lihoc Sr., who led the prayers for the ambulance’s safe journeys and for the protection of patients, drivers, healthcare workers, and everyone who will be on board while carrying out its service to the community.

Also present during the occasion was Mrs. Josefina Lihoc, former Administrative Officer of Aguinaldo People’s Hospital, who shared reflections from her experience in the hospital. She recalled how their team persevered in the past to help establish and make the hospital functional.

Her reflections emphasized simple yet meaningful lessons in public service—that leadership is demonstrated through action, kindness matters, positivity makes a difference, and people must continue to support one another.

The new ambulance is expected to strengthen the hospital’s ability to respond to emergencies and transport patients requiring medical attention, helping bring essential healthcare services closer to the people of Aguinaldo.

AGUINALDO, IFUGAO | September 3, 2026 — Parent Leaders of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) from various barangays in the Municipality of Aguinaldo gathered for their 3rd Quarter Parent Leaders Meeting at the Municipal Training Center.

The meeting brought together 4Ps Parent Leaders from the barangays of Galonogon, Bunhian, Buwag, Itab, Majlong, Ta-ang, Talite, Jacmal, Damag, and Awayan.

The quarterly gathering served as an opportunity for the Parent Leaders to discuss concerns, share updates, and strengthen coordination in the implementation of 4Ps-related activities within their respective communities.

The activity also emphasized the important role of Parent Leaders in helping disseminate information, coordinate with beneficiaries, and support the effective implementation of programs and activities that promote the welfare and development of 4Ps families.

Through continued coordination and active participation among Parent Leaders and concerned stakeholders, the meeting contributes to strengthening community engagement and the delivery of support and services to 4Ps beneficiaries across the municipality.

Residents of Aguinaldo and nearby communities are informed that ultrasound services will be available on September 6, 2026, at the Aguinaldo People’s Hospital, on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that the services are not free and corresponding fees apply. However, this initiative brings essential diagnostic services closer to home, helping residents lessen the need to travel outside the municipality to avail of ultrasound examinations.
