Talisay, the awesome deep river insude a thick forest with color like pepsi blue... very cool.. very clear.. and very mystical, is estimated to be around 24 meters (80 feet). Vast wealth fishes on different varieties and colors readily greet the visitors which add to its mysterious attraction. Stopping by Enchanted River is a chance ti good to pass by. For everything that this river is, it's worth the journey as spectacular scenery awaits. The water of Enchanted River baffles anyone that sees it. You really can't avoid the temptation to take plunge and feel the invigorating water. Stress relief guaranteed. PARTICULARS:

- Signage are available on the road side designed for guiding the visitors going to destination. Trippers wil enjoy the moment of the cool breeze air and scenery along the road to river.

-Before getting inside the Enchanted River premises, one must have to log in his name, place of origin and signature on the visitor's logbook. Entrance fee is 30php per adult.

-Huts, tents, tables and chairs are available for picnic. Clean toiltes and dressing rooms are also in place

-Row of stalls right across the entrance offers a wide array of food and drinks and give visitors variety of fresh and alive seafoods to choose from. Cooking service charge is 20php/kilo.

-Life savers are on duty and visible within the swimming area up to closing time at 5:00pm.

-Around 12 noon to 1 pm., the belll rings requesting the people to clear the river for fish feeding time. Spectacular schools of fish gather and catch food thrown to the river. Fish feeding is done daily.

-there are life jackets for rent within the area @ 15php /hour.

-River cruising is available where tourists and guests will be able to enjoy the scenery going to the neighboring islands @ 160/hour max. of 5 persons.

-The lighter shade of color blue to green represent the shallow area for non-swimmers at the mouth of the river.

-No Smoking policy is strictly implemented at the Enchanted river premises.

-More beautification/improvement has been continuously emphasized in the area to accommodate and make visitors more comfortable.

- There are alternative destinations and "places to see” where visitors can visit in addition to Enchanted River. They are White Blue Resort (09217299304/09129003623), C-Fish Cage & Sand Bars Resort (09465396680/09059542053), Sibadan Fish Cage (09465634927/09103447524), Pacific View (09173081243/09399308705), Umbrella Resort & Rock Island (09486769779/09773544047). There are pump boats at the boating station to reach these places in few minutes.

Recreational Aqua Management Merit Excellence Award Conferred to Enchanted River

The Enchanted River Hinatuan has been honored with the Recreational Aqua Management Merit Excellence Award by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) during the Water Summit 2026 held in Manila.

The plaque reads:
“In recognition of its exemplary commitment to water quality protection, pollution control, and effective stakeholder collaboration, serving as a model for sustainable management of recreational waters nationwide.”

Mayor Atty. Tito Canedo III, regarded as a Tourism Mayor for his dedication to sustainable tourism, proudly accepted the award on behalf of Hinatuan.

FYI. We encourage everyone to help disseminate this information. Change is inevitable, and it reflects the Local Government Unit of Hinatuan's commitment to the continuous improvement and sustainability of Hinatuan tourism.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Local Government Unit of Hinatuan hereby informs the public that a Tourism Fee of Fifty Pesos (₱50.00) shall be collected from tourists or non-Hinatuan residents, including Hinatuanons who are not currently residing in the municipality, starting April 1, 2026.

The fee will be collected at the Mandatory Tourist Drop-Off Point located at Hinatuan Night Harbour in Poblacion as part of the municipality’s system to streamline tourist registration, facilitate the efficient collection of tourism-related fees including the entrance fee of Enchanted River, and provide proper visitor orientation.

The ₱50.00 Tourism Fee serves as a general access fee for visitors intending to visit tourist attractions throughout the Municipality; however, it does not include the entrance fee required in every tourist attraction.

This initiative aims to ensure the orderly flow of tourists while supporting tourism development, environmental protection, conservation efforts, infrastructure maintenance, and other tourism-related services. All visitors are advised to comply with this policy and coordinate with authorized personnel upon arrival.
